Pakistan Ranks lowest in HDI
Pakistan was ranked 141 in the latest Human Development Index 2009 sponsored by UNDP which measures achievements in terms of life expectancy, educational attainment and adjusted real income. The other South Asian countries India, Srilanka and Bangladesh ranked 134, 102 and 146 respectively. It is a clear indication that several Billion Dollars of aid from USA, IMF and World Bank and other donors is being mishandled and the welfare programs are not reaching the intended target population.
India, USA are worried that if HDI rankings are taken as standard metrics for quality of living then the poor showing of Pakistan may directly lead to Islamic Radicalism that may emanate from the country further threatening the security situation around the world.

Srilanka houses negligible musla population.....
Dont blame people, blame the book of hatred aka quran which exhorts its adherents to kill non muslims and blame Islam for what it is, deviding the humanity between a mumeen (darul islam) and kafer (darul harb).......All the non state actor of Pakistan and taliban are fighting for a cause on religion base. And you as a novice who has just entered the Islamic arena, is in a denial mode. Pls note that as long as people like you stay silent on this issue, Pakistan will remain the same, not that its cursed by Allah but people like pervez hudhboys are helpless in a Islamic society full of fundumentalists.
Frankly I would like to learn more from Srilanka who managed to be 102.
