Being a Muslim in Mumbai

By Daipayan Halder

The last thing you would expect my colleague Rehan Ansari, foreign editor of the newspaper I work for, is to be a jihadi. I know he learns kickboxing, but I suspect it is more for upping his fitness levels than kicking a kafir’s butt. He’s well-mannered, well-read and as far as I am concerned, well-intentioned. We have chatted a couple of times near the office coffee-machine on how best to thrash out odd thoughts. By odd thoughts he meant subjects that are unpalatable to our publishers. Thoughts on naxalism, communalism, casteism and several such isms that are best left unwritten in the paper we work for. Our readers don’t want to start their days with a negative thought after all!

Brief, but our conversations have always been interesting. He chided me more than once for neglecting my writing. This Rehan, the Rehan I just described, is a different Rehan from the one I met this Monday. The new Rehan, with eyes that betrayed hurt, disgust and anger in equal measure, told me he takes the cab from his rented apartment in Bandra to Lower Parel, where our office is located. I asked why. He said after the train blasts last year, the Mumbai police conduct random checks in local trains. It gets very uncomfortable if you happen to be a Muslim. Doubts are raised about your loyalty and if you are unlucky you may hear a snide or two about Pakistan being your rightful place. Rehan said he fears he might retaliate one day and hence he has decided to take the cab instead.

We were discussing Salman Rushdie’s Mumbai visit and his interview to NDTV where he said Mumbai is just like New York, a truly cosmopolitan city. “Has he ever travelled in local trains?” Rehan said. “If he had he wouldn’t be saying such things. He would know the Mumbai that exists is different from the Mumbai he fancies.”

My wife Insiya doesn’t bother herself with such existential dilemmas. But I remember when she moved in with me to my swanky, new flat in Thane, she had frowned. She had frowned because I told her she is the only Muslim in that entire complex (it has six apartment buildings and more are coming up). The promoters of my housing complex don’t sell flats to Muslims because “they mean trouble”. It is okay in a way to them if Insiya stays because having married a Hindu she is now in the Hindu fold. But she could not have bought the flat in her name. There are other Muslims in Thane, India’s largest district that is witnessing a real estate boom due its proximity to Mumbai, but they stay in ghettos. And from what I have seen and heard, it would be difficult for Insiya or any other Muslim to buy a flat in any of the big housing complexes that are coming up. She shrugs it off, saying: such things happen.

Such things, in fact, happen with unfailing regularity to Muslims in Mumbai, irrespective of their social standing. City tabloid Mumbai Mirror reported that Bollywood actors Shabana Azmi and Emraan Hashmi couldn’t buy apartments of their choice in the city because promoters wouldn’t sell to Muslims. Other papers have also carried stories on Muslims being forced to stay in ghettos in Mumbai. But my friend Adnan insisted that we journalists have a tendency of sensationalising things. “It’s not that bad, come on,” Adnan had told me. “There are jerks everywhere. You can’t dump a city because of them, can you?”

Adnan at that time was high on Mumbai. He had switched jobs, landed in Mumbai and rented a spacious two-bedroom apartment in Bandra. “Told you, journos invent stories. I got my flat in a jiffy.” “But Adnan, Bandra is unlike the rest of Mumbai. It is one of the very few truly cosmopolitan places. It’s got a sizable Muslim and Christian population, the corporator himself is a Muslim and the real estate prices are prohibitive. What about those Muslims who can’t afford Bandra? It’s either the ghetto or nowhere for them,” I had argued. “Deep, you guys cook up stories to sensationalise. Admit it, my friend,” he had chided me. My protests had fallen on deaf ears.

Adnan’s Mumbai honeymoon had lasted for a few months. During which time, he had got himself a promotion, a car and a girlfriend. Life was a breeze before he encountered a friendly, neighbourhood pandu (slang for a beat constable). It was Adnan’s fault to begin with. He had oversped on the eastern express highway and got caught by the constable. The man asked for his licence, when Adnan handed it to him, he sneered: Bhag kyun rahe the. Gaadi mein bomb hai kya? (Why were you running away? Have you hidden a bomb in your car?) “What do you mean?” Adnan had screamed. “Mian, aap log bahut tez bhaag rahe ho aaj kaal. Thoda sambhal jao” (Mian, you people are on the fast track these days. Better mend your ways.)

Adnan didn’t know what to say. To have a beat constable raise aspersions about his community in broad daylight in a city like Mumbai, his Mumbai, was unthinkable to him. “It felt surreal Deep. In the badlands of Bihar, yes; in Modi’s Gujarat most definitely; but to be told in middle of Mumbai that people of my faith will always be suspect was a rude jolt to me,” he told me later that day. Adnan had taken the day off, he was too dazed to concentrate on work, I had met him in the evening to buy him a drink and talk him out of his depression. It didn’t work. “You were so right Deep. So right,” he said.

I told him it’s a stray incident and he should put it behind him. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that what happened to him is far less shocking than what was reported in Mumbai Mirror on July 17, 2006.

Correspondent Aditi Sharma had met a certain Hamid Pir Mohammed Ghojaria, who was yet to recover from his shock even a week after he was assaulted. Ghojaria (39) was attacked on a running train between Marine Lines and Churchgate railway stations for no fault of his. On that day, the Jogeshwari resident had gone to Marine Lines to submit his son’s college admission forms at Ismail Yusuf Trust. After completing the formalities, he decided to visit his brother-in-law who owns a watch shop near Churchgate. Around 5.15 pm, he went to Marine Lines railway station to catch a Churchgate-bound local. “As soon as I entered the train, I saw some commuters beating up a Pathani-clad man. Even before I could realise what was happening, two of the commuters saw me and started hitting me as well. They just kept saying ‘get out of this country, go back to Pakistan, you do not belong here, you are the ones responsible for the blasts in the city’,” says a shocked Ghojaria.

The watch repair mechanic was all the more stunned when he was asked to take the name of Lord Ram and Lord Krishna. “When they started hitting me, I screamed ‘Allah’. That’s when they told me to call out to Ram and Krishna instead. They said they wouldn’t let go of me if I did not chant the names,” alleges Ghojaria, adding that the mob even pulled his beard. The abuse stopped only when the train reached Churchgate terminal. “Nobody came forward to help me. I felt utterly helpless throughout. When the train came to a halt at Churchgate, all the commuters, including the attackers, simply walked away,” adds Ghojaria. After alighting from the train, he reported the matter to the police at the station, who first sent him to GT Hospital for a checkup and later registered a case under Sections 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) and 34 (common intent) of the Indian Penal Code against unknown persons in Ghojaria’s case. “Investigations are on, we should be able to locate the men soon,” Deepak Bagwe, senior inspector, railway police, Churchgate told Mumbai Mirror. Nothing happened.

I couldn’t narrate this incident to Adnan. I didn’t have the heart. I didn’t have the heart to tell him that my friend Atif’s grandparents have been living in Mumbai for six decades now. They have never wanted to live anywhere else. But in the last three decades, they have gradually withdrawn into a shell. There is a Shiv Sena sakha in front of their house. Every day when they pass it, they shudder. They shudder as they remember how their next door neighbour was cut to pieces in the 1993 Mumbai riots and his wife and teenaged daughter gang-raped. They shudder because they see those men sometimes on the streets, walking tall and walking free.

I didn’t remind Adnan that between December 1992 and January 1993, the city set a record for itself in the matter of communal madness. In the riots that followed the destruction of the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, more than a thousand people were killed. Unlike previous riots, violence spread to relatively new urbanised areas. Violence affected not only slums but also apartment blocks and chawls. What was common to all the areas was the systematic targeting of Muslims, who comprised 17 per cent of the city’s population.

The relief work that followed the riots helped members of the Muslim community resume their everyday lives. However, although successive governments promised to do away with communal forces and civic organisations worked towards communal amity, stray communal incidents still occur in Mumbai. “Mumbai changed after 1993″ is a common refrain of long-time residents.

I didn’t need to. The encounter with the Pandu broke Adnan. He had a long-standing offer from an Ahmedabad-based company. He had refused to consider it earlier. “That city gives me the jitters man. After what Narendra Modi did, you can’t stay in the city,” he had said. He has decided to take it now.

On the nature of fear, Jodie Foster’s character says in The Brave One: “It’s not like anyone has gassed the subway. And yet now we have this ongoing fear that pretty much sits on top of you every minute. So it’s the fear in some ways that’s the bad thing. It feeds on people. It turns people against people.” If you are a Muslim in Mumbai, chances are you might feel the same way.

####"Thugee" is also a part of the primitive religion of Hinduism!###

Its al taqiyya in Islam - subterfuge-deception to fool kafers.

Well then, keep living in your world of deceit and lies, meenug, after all "Thugee" is also a part of the primitive religion of Hinduism!

My above post still stands tall with all the references, try to puncture it sil vous plait and we shall see!

Take it easy meenug...you can not rile my passions by invoking epithets and slurs at any religion because I am, to say the least, totally irreligious...having said that, I reckon it would be quite in order to set the record straight by pointing out your fallacious pack of lies when you invoke that urine drinking of any sort is rampant in any other religion but Hinduism...just because you deceitfully wish to implicate others in this dirty habit of urine drinking as is practiced by many devout co-religionists of yours doesn't mean its true...Morarji Desai being one of the most famous practitioner of this dirty art...and although the great and secularist Indian democracy might well have banned Sati and human sacrifice, yet if you wish me to present to you graphic details of human sacrifice at the altar of your Kali Maa from Time Magazine, I would most happily oblige...but then its not your fault, its just the primitiveness of your beliefs thats all...

####Considering that all religions happen to be fairy tales####

I am glad when you said, you knowingly admited that Islam is also included!

Islam which says its okey and beneficial to drink camel´s urine as your certified hadeeths speak of:

(Sahih Bukhari, Ablutions (Wudu'), Volume 1, Book 4, Number 234)"

Not only camel here; Drinking the urine of the Prophet Muhammad was deemed a blessing:

Dr. Ali Guma wrote that the companions of the Prophet Muhammad would bless themselves by drinking his urine, and described an incident of urine-drinking from a hadith: Umm Ayman drank the urine of the Prophet, and the prophet told
her:This stomach will not be dragged through the fire of Hell, because it contains something of our Lord the Messenger of Allah...

This blessing, Al-Guma added,[can also] be done with the
honorable saliva, sweat, hair, urine or blood of the Prophet.

Eat his excrement too? LOL

Stupid Islam at work - drive slow!

Considering that all religions happen to be fairy tales, Hinduism truly takes the cake in this motley amalgam of ridiculousness...where drinking pale bodily liquids excreted through orifices of the nether regions of the body, worshiping rats and monkeys, and ultimately burning of women and human sacrifice at the altar of the Black Mother abounds!
Posted by Goldfinger on Wednesday October 21, 2009 08:28 am
Considering that that happens to be the situation for the majority of the minority in India, and the continuous hateful harping of thugs like nkg and others, it's mighty surprising that the Muslims of India do not rise against the insidious injustices being perpetrated against them rampantly in India...seems like it is high time that they rise and carve up some more land for themselves to do what they please to do to. Lets exhort all Indian "Muslas" to rise for their rights!

Check your history books bachay.

See the point is, we dont name call, we dont swear, if my religion taught me to do that, I would be calling all people who worship monkeys ???????? But my religion teaches tolerance, and yes my religion is Islam...and yes i would so love calling u an idiot if my religion didnt tell me to be nice to people:)

says the hindu following the teachings of:
“Killing of a woman, a Shudra or an atheist is not sinful. Woman is an embodiment of the worst desires, hatred, deceit, jealousy and bad character. Women should never
be given freedom.” Bhagvad Gita (Manu IX. 17 and V. 47, 147)

What a garbage and lies again....

Above is not a Bhagvad Gita, its from manu smriti which is not followed day to day by any hindu, Hindu laws are not based on gita or manu books, Indians have secular laws with constitution, unlike Islamic jhamuriyat of Pakistan with blasphemy n hudood laws coupled with sharia laws.

Hindus dont beat and behead women every friday under public gaze manu smiriti notwithstanding. LOL

You are talking about muslims of Mumbai at disadvantage whether wrong or right ( knowing well there is nothing as such planned by the Indian ministry - give or take few incidents here or there )

However on the other hand, you people are discriminating n discrediting half of your sociey - You got it right - Islamic women!

What can be more despicable than men considering women to be infererior to women just because Quran says so, and so does prophet mohammed who used and abused women unbriddled.

Why men are considered superior? It is because of their physical strength, financial ability to pay dower and to spend on women. The Qur’an is very clear about the superiority of men over women. Let us review a few verses from Qur’an to demonstrate this fact.

Men have a degree over women...2:228

Men are protectors and maintainers of women; women must be devoutly obedient, if not then beat them...4:34

This verse also prescribes physical punishment for disobedient women. I shall write more on Islamic wife beating later. Why does God have to prescribe this torture on wives? Isn’t it because men make women dependent on them? Imagine what would happen to a man if he were completely dependent on a woman for his financial support? Will he dare to raise his hand against her? As was the case of pauper muhammed who married rich khadija for money despite she being 15 years elder to her!

For more unfairness of God, look at the following verses.

Revelations are sent to men only…12:109

Only men are chosen by God to be His messengers…16:43

God chooses messengers from men and angels…22:75

Men are superior in the worshipping of God …24:37

Women witness is half of men...2:282

This is a very well known fact in Islam. Even if a woman is the Prime Minister of an Islamic Paradise she is still inferior to the dumbest of men when it comes to legal matters. Her evidence by herself is never acceptable in an Islamic court of law. It is because of her deficiency in intelligence and lack of memory. What a disgrace to women and their ability of judgment! What happens if a woman becomes a judge? I really do not know the answer.

Not only that a single woman’s evidence is unacceptable in an Islamic court, but also the women witnesses are completely unacceptable in Sharia where Hudud punishments are involved such as adultery, apostasy, theft…etc. This means that if a woman is raped her evidence or the evidence of any other women (even though there were thousands of women who witnessed the very act with their own eyes) will not be accepted unless four adult Muslim men give evidence that they saw the actual act of fornication with their own eyes. What a justice! I think even a Kangaroo court is better than this type of Islamic court.

Take care of your women, and dont beat them please pakdoc

donot forget india's role in sponsoring terrorism and inciting sectarian violence in pakistan....

muslims have grown @ a very rapid pace all around the world not just in india..... the present vatican census states that total muslim population has surpassed world christian population...islam is the most rapidly spreading religion all around the world.... the reason of anti-muslim false flag operations by hindu/judeo/christian right wingers is precisely that reason :)

dream on!!!!pakistan is going nowhere sirjee....US/Israel/indian nexus has been plotting and hatching sinister plans against pakistan, since its birth...claiming it to be a failed state...to no avail....the maps u refer 2 are quite old....they can plan as much as they like...but they won't succeed :P

@ " Mumbai attacks nt even a single riot took place much to the disappointment of Pakis"
that's because the mumbai drama was an inside job...if pakistan would have been involved, then the attacks wouldn't have stopped there..... take the tiranga glasses off bharat to see the truth :) your tiranga vision is obscurring the reality!

Gujarat happened after 200 Hindus were burnt alive. I am an atheist. But I can say that Hindus have accommodated muslims very well then any where else in the world. Pakistan killed all its minorities no one is left there now. In india muslims have grown at very high pace.

If ur 2 inch country country cant control its sectarian viloence, Balochi violence and religious cleansing consider how difficult it is for a huge country like India with Quran reading ppl in a large no. Add to it Pakistans 24/7 efforts to incite communal violence.

Things are fast improving in India as fast as Paki is going down. After Mumbai attacks nt even a single riot took place much to the disappointment of Pakis. Its a clear indication that ppl have realised Quran,Gita is nt much important than lives.

In the same time Pakistan has become a disaster country and by all reports heading for a Bosnia like solution. Already there is a talk of dividing Pakistan tribal belt and making it as part of Afghanistan and u very well know how ur masters Amrika wants to use Balochistan as a army base to incite violence against Iran. So Baloch will be a diff country..

Then all that will be left is Punjab and Sindh.

Green shades PakDoc... Please dont preach abt minority rites to us. There is a saying in India "Ulta Chor Kotwal ko Dantein"....

Once someone on Chowk said how Jews had their glory days under Islamic rule. If u come from the same deluded school of thought then u will never see the world in its true colors apart from green.

What was the percentage of minorities in Pakistan in 1947 and what it is now. And I wont even talk of genocides, ethnic cleansing where populations have become extinct, rampant Jihadism, Honor killings, beheadings, Kidnapings, money laundering, Drug dealings as state income, Exporting terror all over the world and blackmailing countries...

To list all the crimes commited by Pakistan.... its an enormous and time consuming task....I am not saying all this....but the AMericans say this from whom ur state took Baksheesh for the services it rendered by killing some of its citizens.

nkg .... dearie, donot get so worked up....u r just exposing YOUR true calibre, by abusing muslim faith.....but, then again u can't help it can u??? u r just exhibiting the common intolerant hindu attitude towards all that is not hindu .... an attitude that had made muslims realize the need for pakistan in the first place....
i think i have said it before...but will say it again...i cannot (even if i try extra hard) stoop to your level :)

Somehow, the whole issue of human rights and Pakistani principles disappear, when we start talking about the people of Gilgit and Baltistan (Northern Areas). Speaking to the Urdu daily Jasarat, the mouthpiece of the Jamaat-E-Islami (no friend of India’s) emerging leader of Gilgit, Amir Humza Qureshi, rejected the official propaganda about human rights violations in Indian side of Kashmir, saying:

"It is a fact that people of this region (northern areas) are facing more human rights violations and whenever the official media talks of repression in (Indian) Kashmir people with strong hearts laugh at this hypocritical attitude and people with weak hearts cry. India is not perpetrating even one hundredth part of the repression that people spread over an area of 28,000 miles have been facing for the past 50 years. The Indian Government has given people all their fundamental human rights and in spite of that they are in a state of confrontation against the government. But the people of this region (northern areas) are far behind the rest of the world in matters of fundamental human rights, justice and economic development."

Pakdoc ji

It is green shades speaking....take it out and see wat the world is doing to Pakistanis. In few more years may be in the next 5 years Pakis will be deported from every country and thrown into the God forsaken moth eaten country which no one wants to call it Pakstan.

Go to any chowk forums and see the inherent disgust they are feeling and how Paks are ashamed of their current disastor that they have created themselves.

If one more terror strike happens any where in the world Paks days are numbered.

@ "investigation is still going on"
samjhota express puzzle was solved by karkure, who was receiving death threats by hindu fascists for exposing indian military personnel(colonel prohit's) involvement in these acts of terrorism...he was therefore assasinated along with his entire team during mumbai drama false flag operation......the indian police anti terrorist squad, during their investigation of samjhota express bombings found clear links to RSS and RAW... in masterminding and carrying out these operations(bombongs)...... a classic example of indian state sponsored terrorism!!!

RSS is the well known extremist hindu organization, a part of govt...terrorists to their core! who oppress and terrorize entire india...

Bhaskar Roy, who retired recently as a senior government official with decades of national and international experience, is an expert on international relations and Indian strategic interests.
He said,
"Don't worry if you get caught in India. The Indian state will provide you lawyers, human rights organisations would go to town chanting that your human rights have been violated; political parties would claim persecution of a minority community; the media will scream intelligence failure; and finally the judge would throw out the case for lack of reliable evidence. So relax".

Therefore, Terrorism has obviously come to enjoy a comfortable political cradle in India....

A medieval state

Zafar Agha

Thank God, I am not a citizen of the Islamic state of Pakistan. Imagine if my parents had been enamoured of Jaswant Singh's newfound hero Mohammad Ali Jinnah and migrated to the Islamic State of Pakistan.

What a tragedy could have befallen my family and me! I could have either myself turned into a bigot or my kids could have taken up guns in the pursuit of a puritanical Islamic state like Saudi Arabia. I am extremely indebted to my parents for sticking to their roots in Allahabad and happily accepting the citizenship of 'Hindu India' instead of saltanat-e-khudadad-e-Pakistan (godly kingdom of Pakistan).

Ironically, there is nothing godly or saintly about Pakistan today. Pakistan could never become a modern republican state. So the state eventually withered away and got out of everyone's control. There was a time not too long ago when the world believed that it was the Pakistan army whose writ ran the country. How naive was this understanding.

Once considered the most powerful power centre, the Pakistan army headquarters in Rawalpindi is now under attack from Pakistani jihadis. The world also thought that the Punjabi elite had a tight grip over Pakistan establishment. Now the Punjabis themselves are not secure in their beloved town of Lahore where terrorists' strike at will.

Who then controls Pakistan? Is it the democratic establishment led by Asif Zardari? No, not at all! There is no consensus between Zardari and Mian Nawaz Sharif, the two leading rival democratic parties, even in these moments of grave internal crisis. Are the executive and judiciary now acting as the watchdog? Well, both sympathise with the likes of Hafiz Saeed and nuclear technology smuggler AQ Khan more than the state of Pakistan. Saeed and Khan are the two ideological masters of Pakistani jihadi philosophy.

All the Pakistani terror groups revere them. So it is neither army, nor the Punjabi elite that controls Pakistan any longer. Instead it is men like Saeed and Khan who do, ideologically at least.

You cannot arrest Saeed in Pakistan because he is the ideological pope of jihad. You cannot prosecute him either. The police would make such a weak case that it won't stand in a court of law for a minute. The judiciary would let him walk out because of his 'heroic services' in 'destabilising India'. And even America cannot harm Khan.

After all, he delivered a nuclear bomb to the insecure Pakistanis, stealing and smuggling nuclear technology from all over the world. The world is convinced that he smuggled dreaded technology to North Korea and Iran. He is the last hope of the jihadis who believe that Khan would one day deliver them a nuclear device to destroy their hated enemy, America.

Pakistan is today controlled by the syndicate of Taliban, al Qaeda and Punjabi terror outfits like Jaish e Mohammad. But why is it that Pakistan has failed in modern sense of the word state? A modern state in the post renaissance and post industrial revolution world is essentially run by the will of the people through democracy.

Pakistan has nothing to do both with renaissance and industrial revolution. Its ideological frontier very soon after its inception was a medieval Islamic state whose only function was to destroy India.

So the people were always kept at the margin of state affairs. Pakistan elite facilitated the military takeover of the establishment to fight India and 'liberate Muslim Kashmir from Hindu hands'.

When the entire Pakistani establishment failed to harm an emerging modern Indian state and got truncated in 1971, it vengefully came up with the idea of jihad against India 'to bleed India in Kashmir'.

A jihad genie like Jaish e Mohammed was created with the ideological training from men like Saeed and Talibani madrasas spread across the tribal belt of Pakistan to harm India. The genie is now out of the bottle consuming the state that created it.

A medieval Pakistani state, run by an army and ideologically driven by myopic people like Saeed and terror outfits like Jaish, has had to finally come to this pass where no one now understands who runs Pakistan.

Pakistan shunned renaissance wisdom and post-industrial democratic institutions.Such a medieval state has had to run out of steam sooner or later. So it is now implodingand being consumed by the medieval and tribal hatred it nurtured against India.

Thank you mom and pop, for not migrating to Islamic state of Pakistan because I would have also exploded if not imploded by the jihadi forces that are consuming Pakistan now.

"Mumbai is just like New York, a truly cosmopolitan city. “Has he ever travelled in local trains?” Rehan said. “If he had he wouldn’t be saying such things."

local trains are very cosmopolitan, you get pushed and push all communities.

Muslims always twist, they have to, here is why by world famous writer in his own words:

“Islam is in its origins an Arab religion. Everyone not an Arab who is a Muslim is a convert. Islam is not simply a matter of conscience or private belief. It makes imperial demands. A convert’s worldview alters. His holy places are in Arab lands; his language is Arabic or its blend. His idea of history alters. He rejects his own; he becomes, whether he likes it or not, a part of the Arab story. The convert has to turn away from everything that is his. The disturbance for societies is immense, and even after a thousand years can remain unresolved; the turning away has to be done again and again. People develop fantasies about who and what they are; and in the Islam of the converted countries there is an element of neurosis and nihilism. These countries can be easily set on the boil.”

" for one always feel thankful that Pakistan was created - after having been ruled by Muslims for hundreds of centuries..."

ROTFL...
Is this written in the beduin gangster's manual or you got this info straight from noah or that winged creature?

The Pakistan was ruled and ravaged by musla invaders much more than any area of current day India. Neither Ghajni, Baboor etc., you treat as your heroes, born and brought up,in any area of current day Pakistan....you are the decendents of rape children of these invaders and their dirty army....

FYI...
Cow belt was under musla rule for 500/600 years at most, but that may be 25% of indian population......

People dislike muslas, similar to they dislike street dogs....

If you don't know the answer, then listen...
The source of all the trouble is arabic moon god's prophet (so called),the arab gansger, Muhammed and his book korun...

Can you answer me some of the stuff...
Why US and UK airports started frisking passengers? Is it to taget moslems or some other group?

Why the GWOT, the west is fighting is targetting muslas alone?

Ambi....
Unlike the semi-arbi/semi-bedu/muslas, SivSena guys protect Mumbai from Jihadi elements and their only love is for motherland...neither they prey or swear by barbaric beduinistic stuff or try to harm their own place....

i for one always feel thankful that Pakistan was created - after having been ruled by Muslims for hundreds of centuries, I wonder what Hindus would have done to Muslims had there been no partition and they were given the chance to rule their land after so long.

No, infact, I DO know what they would have done to Muslims - exactly what they have been doing to Muslims since partition - killing them, raping them, mrudering them...can u imagine living in a country where people such as the meenugs, arjuns, suresh's of chowk rule over you....

A Thousand Thanks!!!
