Without dreams, what is it that is left to live for?
Dreams... that guide us along assorted ways of betterment, of progress. Man dreamt to fly and he built engines that defy the pull of the earth and take him into the abyss of the universe. Man dreamt of the moon and made a mark on it. Every piece of improvement, every invention, every ounce of achievement man has ever had were once embodied in a dream.
Do we realize how so essential dreams are?
We dream and we forget about them; telling ourselves that things are out of our hands, that we are not worthy of our own dreams? Cowardice!! From diversity does hope spring... It is the Darkness that Light illuminates. Would hope exist if there were no hopelessness?? What is cowardice but the inability to face our fears? Does life have to be governed by our fears.... or our dreams?
Man is a creator; an extensively capable entity. He develops tools that cut through the hardest rock found on earth... that delve into the far limits of the galaxy... Why then can we not shred our fear, our inability, our misery...?? Why then do we not march ahead in the direction of our dreams and see the one thing most important: destiny??
