Lahore wore a delightful look after the rains and it seems that more rains are in forecast.

Watched an interview with Benazir Bhutto on Geo, in which Benazir did not seem to approve of the questions and the manner in which they were asked and seemed irriated. After a while, she had a look of imperial scowl as to how did the person dare ask her the question. In her state of indignation, she removed the mic and got up and as the Geo cameras showed, was seen flinging open the doors and walking out of the interview session.

Later, after a commerical break, she was seen being interviewed again on Geo.

It was such a pleasant feeling to see Benazir walk out in a huff and a puff, because it truly showed her feudal and psuedo imperial mannerisms. It also showed the mentality of the Pakistani politicans and how they react to any accountibility. The beauty of the act was that it proved, beyond a doubt, that Pakistani politicans might be educated from some of the finest universities in the world, but they never seem to lose their airs of superior arrogance and disdain for the very virtues they constantly preach and claim to represent.

The questions which angered the faux queen of Pakistan was about the murder of her brother, Murtaza, while she was the prime minister. She was upset, in a very visible sense, when asked why how it could have happened under her tenure. She was also irked by the fact that when she started to answer by taking about an oblique subject, the interviewer interjected and pointed out that was not the question and she should answer the question instead of mouthing rhetoric. Benazir then lost her cool charm and intoned to the interviewer that he should calm down and was replied that it was she, who needed to calm down!

No matter what post-interview spin Benazir might put, the fact remains that cameras caught her walking out of the interview. Some times, a picture is indeed worth more than a thousand words.
