one would think that getting what one wants...is a good thing. it should be, right? then why am i feeling bad, having gotten what i want?

its simple actually. because i had to ask for it. many times over. and that just killed it.

you ask for something many times over, and it just loses its charm, doesn’t it? if you do get it, the joy is diminished, and if you don’t...well, hey, that’s why you were asking for it repeatedly, because you know you’d never get it!

oxy-moronic?

real life.

real people.
