The Status Quo Machinery

Posted: Oct 7, 2007 Sun 08:40 am     Views: 181

Hamid writes to Bulleya ".... you remain as clueless as ever ...... i never said musharraf is a better choice than bb, ns or even fazloo ..... all i am saying that since the politicians don't have their act together it is a moot point ....... "

It is not that the politicians don't have their act together, it is that they have to operate under the gun of the military, which is under the gun of the Americans- under these circumstances they do what is expected of them, and what is expected of them if they want to survive that is, is not to look after the people of this country but to serve their masters and receive kickbacks in return- such a political setup will always be corrupt regardless of the person occupying the position of power. When you have an economy in which all the growth in GDP is consumption driven and the consumption increase is due to a rapidly increasing population and the lifestyle of the few ultra rich who receive dirty money by selling the country, and where you have net negative exports, and debts up the wazoo, that means that your "growth" is going outside the country to feed those whom your institutions are serving even as your people go to hell.

You all can talk all you want about politician x and politician y, and dictator x and dictator y, the generations to come will be talking similar BS not realizing that these are public issues having to do with a social structure that is not indigineous but determined from outside, in other words the status-quo generating machinery is oiled, serviced and gassed by the US elite, otherwise it would have broken down long ago...
