whats happened?

People come in and out of your life... and it seems all exciting. A new face, a new life, stories and a character that fills your day. It makes your mind think twice as much because this person has affected you in some way. A lover, a friend, a buddy or just your thoughts is what brings you together.

Connections that are priceless but then come with a price... a price of pain, hurt or realization of the truth. Truth....the thing that you found beautiful and incalculable in the dark until it gets spit out in the morning light to make you shudder with fear.

Suddenly these people feel all the same.... and the difference is not there that made your day seem worth it all over again. It not anyones fault ... but maybe your own. Its like we have put to much effort into the art and expression of others that we have tired ourselves out. Nothing seems unique as it once did that day you met that person. Now everything is a category or a type and if it falls in the right slot your lucky other wise over time it just fades.

Have we become numb to what others are and selfish for our own needs? Or has life become to hard to allow anyone else to enter it to let them ask you who you are and in return hear what they have to say?

where have we come in this fast racing world of love, hate and pain?
