Hum nay na kaha tha!

I’ve finally slept for twelve whooping hours. No longer the sleep deprived me, filled with a can of redbull, should be running around in a frenzy attacking every dust bunny in sight … there is so much to do. Damn, there is so much to do. This is what redbull and I have come down to; sitting on my ass thinking how much there is to do. Laundry needs a foldin’, dishes need a washin’, house needs a cleanin’. Yeah, so, I must be coming across as a filthy cow that has an abominable place covered with dust, depression, laziness and empty cans of energy drinks. Let me clear up the doubts of my cleanliness to my reader. I do these things on a daily basis, yet another day and another sink full, another pollen transfer from outside, another organization panic. Arghhh … Redbull and I.

I had originally saved the Redbull as my last resort. Emergency medicine, I call it. But now, on a regular basis, I go into energy-drink binges, gulping, sipping, and sometimes with ice. Another classic sound with another can opening, another homecoming of energy burst, another crash following this homecoming, another thought of meeting EA; chalo, one does what one can.

Mom called today, she said she dreamt that the birds had flown away. Little could I tell her that I give them a chance to fly away every day, they will not budge. They are quite comfortable with their millets, their spacious cage and their little toys. Those feather that they shed are so hard to vacuum, slippery suckers pop right back out. I can’t wear slippers around the house any longer, all the feather stick to it making my shoes all trashy, lingeried, shoe wear like. Kher, one day, fed up, I just placed the slippers right underneath the vacuum. One does what one must.

‘Me and Mr. Redbull, have got a thing going on. We both know that it’s wrong. But it’s much too strong’ … So, my sweet, little, energy drink seduces me on my days off. It promises to deliver. Delivery comes with deception, it throws off my concentration, and we both sit together in a messy house, all high and shifty enjoying the little thing we’ve got going on.
