What's in a name? - Advice to Ms. Rashid

Posted: Apr 22, 2008 Tue 06:49 pm     Views: 109    Interacts: 0

Dear Ms. Rashid,
Your unfortunate choice of a title and epilogue for your well-intentioned and extremely important subject reminded me of a humorous anecdote.

One slow evening this nice young man was drowning his sorrow in his late night drink at a bar. The bartender, having very little else to do, asked him why he was so sad. "I am a song writer and I think I write very good songs, but nobody buys them" he said. "Well, can you sing one of your songs for me - I have some time to kill?" asked the bartender. The young man proceeded to sing a beautiful romantic ballad and the bartender was overtaken with expressions of gratification and applause. "That was simply outstanding, I would certainly buy this song, what do you call it?" asked the bartender. The young man replied "I call it - I LOVE YOU SO MUCH THAT I COULD SHIT."
