This is dedicated to the ones I . . . . . .

I know, so, yeah, I'm not writing much about Pakistan or talking too much about it here because it seems rather pointless to talk about it. As that old song goes, "All you do to me is talk talk. . . ."

***
I was thinking of words like "the people," which led me to thinking about reading Lenin's "What is to be done" decades ago for a political ideology class or revolutions or something like that which led me to thinking about what I had read about Lenin having no faith in the masses, as well as the saying I've heard more than a few times: "the masses are asses" which led me to an interesting analysis of how Lenin's elitism was a myth and the danger of taking words out of context.

I have no clue what Nawaz Sharif thinks he's talking about when he says that from the events of a few days ago, a revolution will come in Pakistan. It's rather laughable. Is it to be an Islamic revolution? A revolution by the rich and sometimes (oftentimes?) corrupt, or a revolution that will actually be non-elitist? More importantly, bearing Gil Scott-Heron in mind, will it be televised, or as Jesus Jones changed it, computerized?!

The word "revolution" in the political sense really does get trivialized these days. But what to expect from politicians and those who trivialize so much about some things that are happening in Pak sar zameen shaad baad.

Oh well, before it's the end of the world as we know it, paish kartay haiN for your enjoyment and pleasure: a Boney M video. This is dedicated to the Rasputins of the world (not just those who can preach the Bible like a preacher) and "the people" who love and adore them. Oh yes, if you have a problem with women dancers wearing next to nothing, this video is not for you. :) But it's all about two fantastic women singers, who made up the original Boney M being on a cool looking stage in Moscow in 2008.
