Bubbling cauldron

I see the storm approaching - and I have no reinforcements. 2 weeks of pure hell are coming up - not that this week was anything out of heaven either. Having finished my 5th assignment earlier today, I wanted to celebrate. But no one was available to hang out with. So I watched a movie by myself. And so I am still up at 3, and I do have to be up before 8.

I have masking tape and yellow stickies all around my screen. Reminders in big writing. I have stuff written on the back of my hand. Reminders, again. My life must be fairly stressful.

Went to see Jim Estill speak. I liked his "fail often, fail fast, fail cheap’. I think I was the only south asian girl in there, quite disappointing. The place was crawling with people who’s faces screamed Successful. The kinds who don’t work for others, with that particular sense of urgency, purposefulness in their movements. Very intoxicating.

SpaceSoc meeting today was a ... girlie meeting. Ben is away, Neil wasn’t there for some reason ... so it was us 5 girls. It’s pretty cool that there are more girls than guys on the execboard. Anyway, planned out our fall schedule - trip to Canadian Arrow is iffy.

Think I should sleep.
