well, i was thinking this the other day when a friend of mine was reading out faiz to me. he paused at a verse and said ’waah!’ and when i asked him about the meaning of a couple of words in those lines he said he did not know. We checked the meanings and it turned out that they were reaallly wonderful lines. The point is, without understanding, he recognized the beauty. I think this happens with all art.
