Remember how we all were same time, a month back?
Scared of the beach, glued to the T.V, sympathizing in secret tears for those who lost their lives and loved ones, watching the death toll shoot from hundreds to thousands to a hundred thousand in a week’s time, spending a few minutes or maybe even hours discussing the talk of the ’world’ with our family members and friends, sure that something similar would happen around us too, yada yada yada...
Those who believed in God, clinched to Him and begged for His Mercy. Those who didn’t believe in Him, spared a second or two to doubt their faith.
A sense of realization had struck all of us. There was a bit of resentment in focusing on worldly matters. All of a sudden we began to feel insecure because those waves were enough to convince us about the fragility of life.
And yet it goes on and on and on.
Naturally, we’re back to square one. Back to how we were seconds before the natural disaster occurred.
Busy. Busy. Busy.
The only difference though is that now we all know what the word ’tsunami’ means.
