... another year bites the dust, which was generally a good year, lots of positives a few negatives but the balance sheet remained healthy and profitable. we saw some changes at chowk, it’s too early to say if it is a winning combination or not but the appointment of farzana versey, the new editor, is certainly controversial whose views on india and indian government are bitingly extreme and she brings out the worst of every thing that is indian, sometimes true and sometimes not so true resulting into intense personal hate for her by most of the hindu interactors at chowk who consider she will be better off under the taliban regime in afghanistan and since taliban are no more she should be helped migrate to either saudi arabia or pakistan whose lines she toes while living in luxury in india...which obviously gets a lot of appreciation from most of the paki crowd...not because they appreciate her views but because she takes the micky out of the inflated indians... i wish her well in her endeavours for the new year...with a friendly advice from Ghalib:
