Holi ke din ki mid week chhutti. Came as a shock really, one doesn’t really know what to do with all that unplanned leisure time. So did the next best thing- worked out of home in the morning. Had a delicious nap in the afternoon, then awoke and was idly switching channels when Harold and Kumar go to White Castle came on.
The last scene where both the protagonists polish off 30 burgers each not to mention a bunch of french fries and coke made me positively dizzy with hunger. I have ordered the following from the neighbourhood cafe:
1. A cheesy veggie burger (wanted lamb but they don’t have any)
2. Cheesy garlic bread
3. Spicy french fries
4. Half a litre of pepsi
I don’t understand this. I had a perfectly fulfilling home-cooked lunch around 12.30, double of what I usually eat. I didn’t work in the afternoon, in fact the exact opposite, was lazing in bed and watching telly. So where did this appetite come from?
Damn you Harold and Kumar.
