An urgent ode to Ravi_Kopra

Posted: Oct 12, 2007 Fri 11:37 am     Views: 227    Interacts: 5

Like an angry river
foaming at the mouth
raging in white fury
a torrent of thoughts
inspired or not
have rushed forth

what started as a drizzle
wetting us lightly
has climaxed into a flood
submerging us
engulfing us
the gentle chowkies

All is well
beyond well
for the flood is but love
and we shall gladly drown

our ecstatic wish
that this is a monsoon flood
that never ends

our hidden fear
that this is a flash flood
of the sahara desert
here one second
gone the next.

--inspired by the torrent of posts by Ravi Kopra in a short span of time. And hoping that the torrent continues, relentlessly. Ameen.
