we have a play reading today...

and then after we are through with endless report writing and mindless poring over paper, there is desdemona and naani to be dealt with.

othello has to be re-read. and desdemona's character too has to be understood better. and then maybe we can re-work on a modern desdemona's story, set in mumbai.

and we will give her some dilemmas to work on. and make her a thinking person, not just a throw-around doll...

and then again, before all my sindhi naanis die in ulhasnagar, i will have to go and meet them and record thier stories. yet again... this time to be written.

and i better have the time for all that.
