Sometimes I wonder

why every little luxury I buy in this land is accompanied by a piercing and perpetual feeling of guilt, for I can't evade the fact that there ar people around me - adults, kids and infants alike - deprived of even the very basic necessities of life; food, cloth and shelter. I see them lying half-naked under a dilapidated plastic sheet that makes the roof of their huts every inch of which is soaked by the brutal rain, from the cozy comfort of my car and pass unmoved. I hardly ever roll down its window to offer a coin or two to the sulking wet kids knocking and begging. I live in the middle of so much misery and yet remain apathetic to it.
There's no guessing.

We have become deaf, dumb and blind not to feel the agony of those who're amongst us. I wish if we could be just a little sensible to help our misery stricken people one way or the other, for it is our DUTY.

Go well!
