honest cowards & clean liars

So, what does one say about our original hero in the story – the man?

He comes home, looks his wife straight in her eyes and tells her with all honesty, “I am emotionally and physically involved with a woman. And she is pregnant.”

Sounds from sweet heaven?

What does one appreciate and loathe…? The guts to be honest or the dirt of it all…

Agreed about the guts part, agreed he is no coward.
Agreed about great decision-making skills, clarity and forthrightness …

Agreed about everything

So, what is disagreeable?

Not this man actually. He no longer merits any kind of attention. Good or bad. It’s a waste of time.

Disagreeable are these men that I can see, who under their masks of being dutiful family-people have more muck in their minds. And the shit part is that they can continue to be so, while the fool who went on to speak his mind will be spared by no one. He will have a tough time, he will never be accepted and he will always be seen as a coward.

But these other men, they will be known as good, upright, clean men. Who lay down their individuality for their families? For them their families come first…

I happen to see them, know them and out of my own choice (this better end), continue to live with them…

And so….though one cannot of course, live with the so-called honest man, thank god one is not living in a fake, false, pretentious relationship with a coward.
