There`s not much to say about me. I`m just an average Pakistani who has experienced diverse cultures and learned some hard lessons in life the hard way. Now that my children are entering the most confusing phase of life, I seek answers to their innocent questions in the stark reality of life rather than fantasies smoked out by the mainstream media.
As every individual, my views may please some and offend others. I appreciate a good critique. However, just as I hope to offer a pointer or two to someone, anyone, to improve his/her life or to avert a mishap in some small way, I wish my critics to extend the same courtesy to me.
Random Thoughts: Throughout my adult life I have collected several years of experience in different arenas. From dead-end odd jobs during college years in the West to consulting blue-chip companies in large software systems and business processes to managing my own business, I`ve been in a wide range of circumstances. During this ongoing journey I`ve met many interesting people who have taught me valuable lessons, mostly unintentionally though. By the same measure, I`ve seen cultures transform for better and for worse, but mostly the latter.

Now I just endeavor to guide the youth with a lasting hope that they don`t make the same mistakes and face the same/similar pitfalls as I did in my days of ignorance and inexperience.

After worshiping my Creator, the demanding nature of life takes up most of my time balancing its personal and professional sides. Fortunately, my perfect wife of almost 15 years and our four wonderful children are a source of more fun and amusment than I can handle.

As for my free time ... you guessed it; just as there`s no such thing as a `free lunch`, a bloke like me doesn`t get much free time. The few `free` minutes I come upon occassionally are spent online reading news, religion, politics, society, etc, and of course surfing The Chowk :)
Favorite Reading: Haven`t read any modern literature in a long time. Quran and other related books provide more than enough knowledge to digest in one life time.
