I began writing at the age of 10. Most of my works were scratchy at best until Mrs. Padma Lama, our School Principal read one and started encouraging. I remember the 40 marks essays that she would make us write. I loved it. At the age of 20 my first book - `Portraits of Life` was published. Since then I have authored eleven books both fiction and non-fiction. Though I am primarily engaged with the United Nations and travel to different parts of the world working in different projects, I like to be primarily known as a writer.
