Mother of four defence service officers (3 decorated). Grandmother to an army Capt who took premature release. My daughter-in-law`s brother is one of the pilots among the missing 54 POWs of 1971 Indo-Pak war. The history of my husband who was a police officer and family could be woven in Khakhi military fabric! My eldest brother-in-law was a Capt in the first world war, and the youngest a naval officer in the second. As for me, I died young over 60 years ago. My brother was Dwarka Divecha the photographer of Sholay. I was a prolific painter, and enjoyed singing and dancing.
I remember I loved my children intensely and prayed for them and their progeny`s happiness.
