i pasted in excel, the list of interactors on this article to look at the frequency of contributors. i think chowk-staff needs to pay a serious attention to this list because its no fun interacting on a website where every single interesting discussion gets hijacked by retards with a single point agenda. and its no use expecting people to reform themselves because most of these losers have been around for about 5 years. maybe chowk-staff should limit the number of posts by interactor per day like they did on unplugged. i think quality of interaction will really improve if people have to think before they hit the submit buttom.

It wasn`t payback as such.

I have heard it frequently alleged here that Indian intelligence sponsored violence in Karachi in the `80`s, but I have never heard the full details. Who is it that Indian intelligence supported? what were their activities? Can someone point me to some good resources or summarize it here.

Please note that I am not denying the issue, it was quite possibly a payback for 1980`s Punjab. Its just that I would like to hear the full story, before it is accepted as Gospel.

Sorry I missed your comment. You are right.

Pakistani plays were great before the pre-commercial era... competition with Indian soaps and slapstick comedy has driven Haseena Moen out of business. But I bet you... most Pakistanis would want to go back to those.

Aaj TV, Hum TV and some other new Pakistani channels are making an effort though... to improve the standard of the commercialised mixture... I was watching a new Pakistani drama the other day... and it was quite alright...

Saima, I`m glad :). Selective perception is probably the biggest epidemic going around chowk and so far there just seems to be no cure. The anti-Muslim slant is prolly something he wasnt even aware of when he was writing it and something the critics here would have skipped - I find a lot of people in the wake of 9/11 react negatively even when they`re not aware of it. A sort of subconscious racism. I`ve had people ask me if I was muslim and it shocked me someone would actually do that in ny of all places.

So yes, I dont follow her from board to board or post threads in her name in up where I constantly berate her. However, I have made it clear, on several occasions and most of them in connection to you, that I do not subscribe to her views. In fact at one point, and I`m covering old ground here as usual given your famously convenient memory, I even offered to take your view of Sadna for gospel. This was of course before I knew that you wouldnt know the truth if it drove up on the loneliest road in the world and ran you over with a bicycle.

But if I havent been obsessed with Sadna, neither have I been obsessed with any Pakistani on this site who posts anti-India comments. And in none of these have I cried mommy and looked to others for help like you used to on up before farzana decided to experiment with free speech or come up with tons of excuses to explain exactly why I was the way I was [``the indians did it``, ``i`m finally listening to my fellow pakistanis on chowk`` or my favorite yet, ``i`m only copying sadna``].

My issues with you have nothing to do with your country - it has to do with you as a person. your nasty little habit of opportunistic and habitual lying, your absurd redefinition of common terms [remember when you called me an ``indian secular commie hindutva fanatic`` (??) in addition to being a fascist and some other things I cant remember right now? You`d have a point if I was the one who said Indians are full of love for pakis because they watched Paki plays..Did I ever say that?...I`ve maintained that Pakistan is the enemy because of sponsors Islamic terrorism in India and elsewhere..and that a majority of pakis, including those on chowk, may claim to be full of love for Indians but they support Islamic terrorism ...9/11 just send their love for the jihadis into the closet..they`ve all become what I call ``visa moderates`` moderates only because their visas depend on it..

about paki plays..a miniscule % of Indians actually watched paki plays..I`m willing to bet the % of pakis who watch Indian shows now is much larger than the % of Indians who`ve watched Pakistani plays at any time...
