When batli vala talks about streets being washed he fails to mention that karachi was the capital of pakistan then... this practice stopped as the capital was moved to islamabad..in 1958..
army has been the may reason behind a lot of the problems in pakistan along with feudal rulers with some industrialist thrown in... and ofcourse ethnic/sectarian/external strife...
he talks about mohajir contribution to karachi...
school, colleges, university: adamjee, sir syed, hamdard, habib, baqai.. waghera waghera
banks: hbl, bcci, ubl, mcb etc
Remember it was bhutto who nationalized the assets and since then a lot the investors have not invested in karachi.. this why we don`t have birlas or tatas in pakistan..

It is true that most muslims who came from the gangetic plains did not have a lot of capital with them unlike some of the ones from junagarh/kutch and gujrat..
but these people were overwhelmingly better educated and did their part to get the country going. But the feudals and the army had other plans.... the rest as they is history..

how do the peers in othe cities compare to those in karachi? e.g. multanis, lahoris and last but not the least peshabaris?

Hp comments were generally to ungal you but he does believe in some weird stereotypes and that is his own problem. Both him and the cantonment contaminant are too old to change their ways...

You are correct. It is absolutely amazing when urdu-speakers urinate from their mouths, and that is exactly what the All Tuff brigade has been doing since the mid-1980`s. As such demographics or no demographics we would have to work twice as hard to bring these new urinating creatures into the enlightened world.

Western politicians may not be familiar with these new creatures who can urinate from their mouths. I have never seen an urdu-speaking women urinate. Have you?

I would have to agree with you about the Urdu language. In fact, it is rather common for people to urinate after speaking Urdu. And with all those difficult Farsi and Arabic words, the poor Paki Punjoos do much more than urinate when they have to speak Urdu.

Karachi was being daily washed until the mid-1950`s. That is almost a decade after independence. And the mohajirs may not have been employed at the City government.

These hate-mongers and racists have tried to turn the issue into one of my credentials as a Paki and a Muslim. The main issue is that Muslim Pakistani women (and men), ``stranded`` in Bangladesh, are converting to Christianity because their country refuses to repatriate them even when Saudi Arabia has been willing to foot the bill.
