The Myth of Jewish unity...
Love for property, terrified by the prospect of losing money are some of the ``positives`` which muslims should consider when dealing with such communities.
They`ll unravel in no time.
Enjoy! It is really funny--or maybe not.
The Last Jews of Afghanistan celebrate a Special Seder
by Brent Lewin, Afghanistan Correspondent

Passover Seder in Afghanistan.
He has been accused of betrayal, of murder, and of working as a spy for Israel`s Mossad. His name is Zebulon Simintov and he is the last Jew in Afghanistan. The title is a new one for Simintov, who for years shared the distinction with Isaac Levin, the other of ``the last 2 Jews of Afghanistan``. The two men`s relationship brings to life the old folk story of the 2 Jews who live in the same place yet go to different synagogues. In Simintov and Levin`s case however, there was only one synagogue in Kabul and both chose to live out their days at opposite ends of the decaying building, locked in a bitter feud. The origin of the quarrel is said to back to 1998 during the rule of Taliban regime. Each accused the other of wanting to sell the synagogue and its sacred lambskin Torah. Feelings of betrayal turned into hatred when the Taliban confiscated the holy scrolls. Each Jew denounced each other and leveled charges ranging from converting to Islam to running a brothel. Both were subsequently imprisoned and tortured by the Taliban for their religious convictions. After the fall of the Taliban, Simintov and Levin each vowed independently to secure the Torah`s return to Kabul. Aside from insults and threats, the estranged odd couple didn`t speak for years. This relentless and hostile feud finally ended in the only way possible when in March 2005 Isaac Levy passed away.

``if a person is does not have a toilet, he will pee on karachi street offending sensibilites of ``old timer karachiites`` who thinks he has the theika for a civilized karachi. however, the peer (LOL) was promised a muslim-only toilet, and that is why he is there. ``
great metaphor :-) personally, i think my forefathers made a colossal error in migrating to pakistan.
wese, unloading your bladder out in the open just feels better .. no matter where, in a field or in a back alley or on a karachi street... Behram Sahib: you got that right about my kind. hehe.

pakistan creation DID promise gains for a community, that was one of the ideas. while a lot of folks did gain, some did in fact lose, and some were surpized to find lack of promised gains and the logical conclusions were seen in karachi. so, the genesis of this is creation of pakistan. hard to blame the victims alone in this tough enviroment, where submission would mean death..if a person is does not have a toilet, he will pee on karachi street offending sensibilites of ``old timer karachiites`` who thinks he has the theika for a civilized karachi. however, the peer (LOL) was promised a muslim-only toilet, and that is why he is there. otherwise he would be peeing on railtracks of bombay, but it would have to share the pee-space with the hindu bhaiyya.

No Mr Raw_dust
Mr Behram has not LOST anything.... , Infact I , along with people like Behram, identify ourself with the sense of LOSS and Regret on the trasformation of a city, which was called the Paris of EAST before Partition and Till the 70`s A city of Lights.
A city which was far more tolerant then any one could perceive, Our city was Hijacked
...Hijacked by those , who had nothing But Hatred and venom for their fellow beings..
MQM.... has killed people of every nationality living in Karachi, be those, Sindhis, Pathans, Punjabis......... etc.... HECK they have even killed their own.... and are still doing it...
Just because their cause and Agenda is Agenda of hatred.....
and thats what they thrive ON.
Mr Behram and like minded are feeling that Pain of being Hijacked by such Hate Mongers
......and this feeling of being TRAPED ..... is pretty painfull.

Dear Raw_Dust sahib:
I have no ethnic hatred whatsoever. Facts about these thugs speak volumes. Killings of over 22,000 Karachiites should be the main focus. I just brought this to the attention of those who are hypocrites amongst us.
Lofty idealism is one thing, but facts on the ground is quite a different thing. Regardless of who has done the killing, it is incumbent upon those who assume the leadership of my city to come clean and appologize for the killing fields that they helped create. There should be some shame and some repentence. That is all I ask.
After all they are the ones who are demanding everything under the sun for civility from the rest of the world, yet when the same behavior is expected of them they are shamelessly quite. Just think about it.
Yes, demographics has told us many things about Karachi. I can never for one minute assume that 15 million Karachiites would not ask for an appology from the All Tuff goonda brigade.
If Karachiites are such people then I have nothing to do with the supporters of these murderers and goondas.
Respectfully submitted,

behram is far more respectful of the MQM wallahs than hindu girls looking for sugar-daddies..he knows how to avoid a suntan ;-)

behram sahib:
You are sadly lost. MQM irrespective of its dark past will be a major electoral force in Karachi cos demographics favor them the most. Law of large numbers - multiplicity through procreativity - is in action in front of us. There is nothing you can do about it, apart from exposing your ethnic hatred and crude mentality.
By the way, watch out - these bhayyas might reinvent your Pakistan by another name if and when providence favor `em. You seem to be already in awe of their killer survival instincts.
respectfully administered.

bhai sahib: i stayed out of this fray because I saw it to be a goad salim opportunity. You have made quite a few generalizations about mohajirs and it is not the first time you said things like that. You did correct course as most of the comments were there to ungal salim. I can through these comments and point out my reservations, but to what end? Your mind is already made up, sir.

Flippant there is no hatred, just love. Karachi is approx. 15 million, which is 10% of the population. Even if the thugs of All Tuff get 100% representation, which they would not, it is still only 10% of Pakistan. That is one reason that due to the current rulers policy of developing limited democracy for Pakistan, that we see even bati valas supporting qasais. For every enlightened citizenry of Karachi it surely would be a disgrace to associate with those who thrive on hate.
Flippant, how many non-muslims has these thugs supported? Are you ever going to work as a political party, or are you always goimg to work as a Mahaz? A front? against what? But, that requires political science understanding, and obviously, a failed pharmacy student may not have that.
Just some food for thought for you and people of your ilk. We must continue this your enlightenment process on some other board (I am sure). And yes, you have surely shown your maturity (for this I am being facetious)

Just being a flippant is all that is needed by the All Tuff uthai geeras. Being secular they claim, yet they have not an iota worth of knowledge of what secularism means. After all the failed pharmacy student does not even know what the National Students Front was. The All Tuff was desparately trying to get his hate developed, and was not ready to understand the true sacrifice of those who wanted a progressive Karachi, a progressive Pakistan.
I have won elections at the NED Engineering University, with a JI as my oponent, and the All Tuff goondas would come for advisement. The depressed Bihari that I have made referenced about was one of my class fellow. He was always on drugs. These Biharis continuously develop conspiracies to destroy the hands that feed them. But, All Tuff was seriously planning to get into the University. Our party was winning elections at the Karachi University without the Kalishnokov culture. If only had I known that after a decade this All Tuff would come back and destroy my lovely city, I would have turned no stone and get him enrolled in the Pharmacy department.
After all the President of the Karachi University was none other than our friend Rahim, and the President of National Organization of Progressive Students (NOPS) was Raza Rabbani, who is now the Senior Senator for Pakistan People`s Party. And of course, if I could actually go and win our NED University`s first Bus from Senator Kamal Azfar. Then, I am sure that we could get the All Tuff`s rage diverted towards pharmacy.
But, alas hind sight is always 20/20. Kids may not understand the trauma of what a beautiful city that was destroyed by constantly peeing on the streets, and producing between 12 to 15 children, who are playing on the streets of Korangi. And being picked up by the thugs and goondas on some pie in the sky dream of being the rightful owner of Karachi.
Wah rah wha! Just because you are a mohajir, somehow you have more right to pee on the streets of Karachi. Where after all it is all in your upbringing....It is really far, far away from civilized world for those who came from Jacob Lines.
