``Why are those who brandish Islam given exclusive copyright to the terms “fanatics, radicals, extremists, fundamentalists”? ............``

``Once the higher terrorism is taken care of the petty is bound to vanish. ``

Because compradors like you provide the necessary ideological support for the fanatics to pursue their agendas.............................you harp upon the linkages between the so called petty terrorism with the so called state terrorism where there are none.......you pursue your agenda of demeaning democracies and liberal governance in order to try and sell your theocracy to the gullible ummah...............it is because of you that moderate muslims are having a harrowing time trying to spend our useful professional hours explaining about these `fringe` elements...............you are liability to US.........it is time we ostracised guys like you and ensure that you are deported back to your `pure` lands for sure..................so that you do not defile the liberal civilizations with your ``purity``....................

Only till a deferred end time, which given time frame of natural events in the formation of the universe, as related to human existence is less than a drop in a bucket. Until that day of decision arrives for the American elite, and many days of decision have come and gone for many civilizations, I will continue my struggle against all terrorists petty and higher. Once the higher terrorism is taken care of the petty is bound to vanish.

Well, one can only wish people good luck. Hope one day the realization will dawn that inventing new words is not sufficient to make terrorism defensible in any way.

Terrorism, as per new wisdom, is our religious duty, part of our Divine Plan.

Why decry insignificant little acts of Lower Terrorism and Higher Terrorism? We ought to celebrate them as aspects of the Supreme Terrorism of God Himself.

Terrorism is the new benevolence. It is a precious religious gift, helping its fortunate receipients move closer to the Company of the Supreme Terrorist - God.

``Every culture, every nation has their separate notions of the acceptable and the obnoxious. It is absolutely preposterous and condescending to expect them to conform to western ideas of liberty and civilization. ``

Good. Put on a dhoti, take a lota, and stop coming to the evil internet.

You are as fake as your ancestor who declared himself a descendant of the prophet.

Maybe in your ``fairy tale`` world that is what is going on, while you conveniently forget that life, the earth as a habitable home, and everything life needs to sustain itself was provided for it independent of any effort creation put in, tabulate a + and - before you pass a blanket judgment. Humans, the elite among them have usurped that provision and monopolized it for their tiny groups while denying basis sustenance and a decent standard of living for the vast majority. Have you ever noted that natural disasters like floods usually kill the poor and the needy due to lack of material resources or at least affect them more so, the rich either live in secure dwellings or manage to escape in time. How convenient it is for you to blame God for that when your `higher terrorists` are responsible for.

How unfair is this small-minded criticism of lower terrorism and of higher terrorism! We are blind to everyday acts of Supreme Terrorism - untold numbers of deaths and enormous destruction of innocent lives carried out by the Supreme Terrorist. Selfishly, He floods the homes of innocent people from above, shakes and breaks their houses from below, and burns their bodies with fire and flu in between.

Clear as day, the beloved `petty terrorist` is our modern day great messenger. When he gloriously captures his human quarry and piously beheads it before TV cameras the brave petty terrorist acts no differently than the Supreme Terrorist - the God/Bhagwan/Allah. The only difference is that the latter gets to strut as the Most Merciful....most benevolent...

All reasoning has come full circle. On God`s green earth, everything is now ``the same.``

In trying to kill the world for short-term profits

comrade masadi`s next chowk article: Is Das Kapital truly amazing..

no question mark at the end...

just like his koran article, that article can be summed up as follows: the Das Kapital has no errors BECAUSE I FRIGGING SAY SO..

The author write:

<<< But is it terrorism only when some individuals involve themselves in the hideous act of murdering innocent people? Is it not terrorism when a state sabotages a whole city with its fighter jet planes and ultra modern warheads? >>>

Yes, the former is petty terrorism the latter is ``higher terrorism``, and the US elite are the worst of the higher terrorists. In fact, even though in totally different social context, this elite possesses a similar mentality as suicide bombers. Capitalism’s suicide bombers worship profits and are willing to kill and be killed for them; they are the “higher terrorists” that operate on much larger scales than the bogeymen, the petty-terrorists they claim to fight. In trying to kill the world for short-term profits, they eventually end up killing themselves and the earth. For the sake of humanity, they must be stopped and their policies challenged on every forum and upon every occasions.

Re #14, ``All religions in human hands have been capable of great good and great evil``

Indeed.
And let us not forget that even without the benefit of religion humans are capable of great evil. Witness the great wars of the 20th century.

Re: # 11

Buddhism has had its share of strife. See the problems in Sri Lanka. Genghis Khan was Buddhist too.-) And don`t forget the self immolation of Thich Quang Duc in Vietnam. The Japanese were Shinto Buddhist and did commit a few war crimes..
I cannot speak for Zoroastrianism. In today`s world there are very few Zoroastrians (in comparison to other strife ridden religions) to really affect the mainstream. You need a critical mass, unemployment and idle minds, and remembrances of past grandeur or discrimination (perceived or otherwise) to generate cranks.

All religions in human hands have been capable of great good and great evil.

{but name one religion which does not hold such cantankerous elements –except Buddhism and Zoroastrianism.}

And why do you suppose these cantankerous elements are not present in these religions?

Could it not be the doctrine itself?

Dear writer,
Where do we go from here? What are u suggesting? Is this the time for Hamas/MMA kind of Muslim rulers? You have painted a very strong case against evil west and current Muslim leaders, but u fail to provide any solutions.
