I am so indebted to you for absolving me of any charges of plagiarism - I was really holding my breath for someone to come to my rescue. I think that Chowk Staff has adequately put that baseless charge to rest. Now the perpetrator of that evil is totally discredited and has to face my wrath in a duel involving jello.

Lastly, did you have to descend into the gutter by making that unprovoked profane remark about Mr. Quraishi, the young, intelligent, future editor of Dawn? Please do not take out your anger on journalists just because the vending machines in airport restrooms malfunction.

The most hilarious part of the article is that the writer himself is married to a hijaban muslima. Probably he needs to provide his wife and other family women all the tips about the alternatives to lota handling and the proper usage of tp (a topic he loves so dearly) before he sermonizes anyone else on Chowk. Oh, I forgot the write-up was meant to mock the poor muslim women in his own family.

And, please give me a break on being personal. All the uncouth psychos on Chowk, including the writer, have no sanctity for the word and its meaning. They cross the line and provoke others. When the woofing humans are twisted by their ears, they cry foul.

As an American, I was horrified and deeply hurt by the attacks on WTC and the Pentagon. I supported the attack on the Tally Ban and Alkayda. I think that the response, yes even a ten-fold one, should be restricted to the culprits - Alkayda and Tally Ban. It doesn`t make sense to spread the hatred even more by striking at other groups (e.g. Iraqis, Palestinians, Iranians, and others who had no role in 9/11 attacks).

That is inaccurate. My wife, while being a practicing Muslim, does not wear the hijab. Yes, I have female relatives in Iran who must wear the chador, because it is the law there. Not a single female relative of mine in the west, that I am aware of, wears the hijab, chador, burkah, or other clothing meant to hide beauty.

i dont completely agree with this but it makes sense in the following way.

al-qayeda were uppity, and challanged amrica, and hurt them in lives and economy when amricans were allowing them and in early days funding them to fester happily in tora-bora.

saddam and eyranian REGIME have challenged the great satan too..(tell me its not so).

if they are allowed to fester, they will hurt amrica one day, so preempt, and let the ``ummah`` know that amrica is not a soft state (e.g. like india). this seemed to work for libya.

prof alan dershowitz is currently arguing legitimization of pre-emption in a new book...

What is this about Lota and ablution?

On a totally different subject, Some Muslims use small stones to touch on their Penis in restrooms. I am serious. I have a Hynderabadi Muslim friend and before the Namaz he touches the Penis with Stone so that Pee-lets, droplets dont soil his pure body before the Sajhada(morning only).

Everyday I learn new things about Muslisms.

It`s all about cleanliness. Some die-hard Muslims use stones as an extremely hardened path to absolute cleanliness. You are right about the droplets - one could use a stone (there were quite a few in Arabia - using sand is not in the smart category. :) )

Use of Lota is obvious. Plus the heavy metal ones were used as defensive weapons while one was vulnerable to attack and theft, while busily engaged in performing bodily functions.

The main idea is to be clean. The rest is just ritual.

Being a chameleon, the writer has a tendency to change facts and figures, when and as necessary. I have my sympathies with the poor hijaban Turkish woman married to this hypocrite who neither has any character nor basic decency.

I hope during the month of March, the comedian educates his poor wife(deprived of civilized living) and other family women living in some caves on how to use a tampon or a sanitray napkin(also known as a sanitary pad) during the time when they menstruate (provided they are women and not menstruating men). At least this way, the devious musalman`s curiosity will come to an end.

Oh, I thought the Chowk`s readership was honored to learn that the chameleon`s wife is expecting. Now, the devious musalman will have to educate his poor wife about pampers. I hope she does not start using a woman`s sanitary napkin on the new born. Ha Ha Ha!!!!
