re:this article
Of all the theories, the most plausible is: cricketing culture. Most of the cricketing greats in India are from Bombay. People like Gavaskar, Vengsarkar used to play cricket in Shivaji stadium as school boys with a bat and a tennis ball. A similar culture of fast bowlers perhaps prevails in Pakistan.
Rest is a myth. There is no added advantage to meat as any nutritionist would tell u. In fact, if u are unlucky, u will catch a bird flu or a slow viral disease that kills u after 20years!
I heard there is a Kashmiri pace bowler on the horizon. One has to wait and see if he is genuinely fast.

good stuff shera..
its the mutton.
IMO some pathan etc got advice to be more like McGrath and less like lee to be successful ..even agarkar is generally more productive in that mode..so to stay in the side, they dont push themselves to bowl faster (not that they can).
soon there is a new 6.2 fast-bowler from indian kashmir coming..a genuine rogan josh.

Yaar, your analysis is extensive, but the flow is not linear or smooth, so you could have worked on it a bit. Well done though!
