I hope the author managed to unwrap his mind from the pretzel shape it must have twisted itself into by the time he finihed this article.
good night and good luck!

Another run-of-the-mill Islamist Pakistani `strategic analyst` a la Hamid Gul...
``The people of India still hold a grudge against Pakistan for its creation.``
-- yeah right! May we say then that the people of pakistan want all the kaffirs in the world to die?
``Unlike the people of India, the people of Pakistan were progressive faster economically, and therefore did not care much about international relations.``
-- Duh?? WTF?
``preemptively argue an arms race with India in ``
-- argue an arms race.... what is that bro ?
``huge boulder of Islamization, the inertia of which no one has been able to challenge since the time of Hazrat Omar (RA)``
-- Another Islamofascist spouting out stupid statements
``Pakistan is still the same, and its importance is determined by the absolutely beautiful skill of diplomacy that it’s famous for``
-- Really? So, can Pakistani diplomacy save your A$$ from being searched the next time you take a flight to the US?
and check this piece of jewel out...
``In essence, China is attempting to take the strategic place of the US in this region, and is making Pakistan it’s Canada, by making partnerships and strategic alliances, while making India economically dependant upon it by making India it’s Mexico.``
-- dumbass, where do you live? Planet Earth?
``Pakistan, on the other hand, pays some of it’s senior managers more than they could get in Dubai.``
-- Mr. Deluded, spend a day outside Pakistan/Pakistani ghetto...
``In conclusion it seems that another Red Sea is rising, however, it is not rising alone. If you look close enough, and from the right historical and strategic perspective, you might yet see a hint of green. ``
-- Hahaha.... these Islamofascists are surely deluded, and this is why these people are really dangerous

Here is something to think about: The US is not wooing India because it wants to build India up to face China militarily if need be, they are not that dumb, they know India will get its butt kicked by China regardless, so what is this India wooing all about? The economy of China for its supergrowth depends on the US, now if consumption and manufacture can be shifted potentially to another country with a large population, any misbehavior by China can effectively be controlled by this threat of withdrawl alone. That, in my opinon is the major reason why the US is wooing India. China has already been trapped by the global capitalist system, now its control and domination is much easier. In other words, India is being used as a cheap escort on a mock date to make the wife jealous (pardon the crudeness of my terminology). To be fair to the Indians, unfortunately Pakistan is being used by both US and China as an actual whore.

So International Relations is now a subject at Madarrsahs as well? Who said the Madarrsahs were backward-looking and only produced terrorists? Look at this foreign policy wonk.

The entire article is based on the premise that the Chinese horse will keep on galloping at 10-12% per year, give serious challenge to the US , overtake USA economically by 2050 and the world including USA will be simply clapping.
Rather, China has fallen into the trap of USA/ Western World and there is no escape from it. After Iran and North Korea, China will be in the list of the US and its allies.
The weaknesses of China are many and not one. Time is not far when it will not only be known as the Most Populous Nation --it will also be known as the Most Foolish Nation of the world.

The gist of this article sounds much like Hitler`s fantasies about imaginary armies, thrusts and counter-thrusts and wonder weapons that would annhilate the allies during the last days of the Reich.
Pakistan after 9/11 was where India was in the early `90s when bankrupt policies led to actual near banktrupcy. And Musharaff has taken the same equivalent decision that Narasimha Rao took to put India on the road to recovery by banishing the old shibboleths of socialism, planned economy etc.. Musharaff has turned his back on the Afghan adventure and the Taleban and put technocrats like Shaukat Aziz in place to put Pakistan on the economic growth path.
I think Musharaff is guiding Pakistan out of the darkness of it`s own creation. That is, if Musharaff`s military instincts don`t kick in and he blows Balochistan to bits or if his military coterie still thinks that the Taleban are still a strategic asset in the face of growing American impatience on the goings-on in the border areas.

The whole paki strategy for fighting jihad is like a woman injecting herself with the AIDS virus hoping that if she gets raped, the rapist will surely get AIDS and die.
The AIDS virus was the jihadi ideology that has now seeped into Pakistani DNA. Every time a paki lands at a western airport, he`s reminded of that...
That`s Pakiland`s national security decision making apparatus` gift to Pakiland..enjoy it..(except for the gitmo treatment at airports)...

Utopian..very much..on the outlook.but too early to be predicted..but things going in the same way..
[The Gawadar port is one of the major trade routes for oil transport in the greater region. With China’s cooperation, and with natural gas reserves, Pakistan can not only become energy independent, but also militarily strong.]
this is one thing that is irking one and many..Balochistan is at the verge of opening up to the Chinese first then the world..
[President Musharraf’s five day visit to China’s top secret facilities and Pakistan’s technical cooperation with China is saving Pakistan a lot of money, and is giving China a natural ally of geo-strategic proportions. In essence, China is attempting to take the strategic place of the US in this region, and is making Pakistan it’s Canada,]
it already is the canada..What is of concern is that China has earned and learned the confidence it can have on Pakistan being the only country to have pulled down the Iron Curtain of Russia..thus messing with Pakistan militarily is not a great idea..
[Pakistan and China will enter the market for air force equipment by selling F-17’s and other aircraft as inexpensive substitutes for F-16s, which are already getting obsolete due to F-10s]
Deal signed..already..
undergoing production already..
orders taken..
awaiting delivery..with MADE IN CHINA label again..
with the Indo-American nuke deal..India has earned itself some praise..but more of enemies..Sino-Pakistan.would not sitting idle on this issue..as ever..
something underway again..
[India, on the other hand, still faces Hindu-Muslim riots which its government still refuses to acknowledge as an important issue]
media of India is like the make up of the Bollywood actress..(u think this is allegation..) just have a look at Kajol without Make up..Yuck..!!!!!!!!
India has many years to go on foot to get to the road called Prosperous..and then miles down the road to get to the highway called SUPERPOWER..so forget it..
[cleaned up the streets of Karachi]
at last..
[Fuel costs, border problems and other issues will be considerably reduced and therefore will the end consumer prices.]
dont` quite agree with this..its a behemoth issue..which needs prudent and diplomatic handling..
[This will open Iran to more employment opportunities, access to inexpensive and easily available medicines and military equipment. Pakistan and China will get natural gas, and perhaps a joint nuclear energy production program that will solve the yet to arrive energy crisis]
hmm..considerable..China is the biggest client currently for Persian Oil..
[China has already been trapped by the global capitalist system, now its control and domination is much easier. In other words, India is being used as a cheap escort on a mock date to make the wife jealous]
as if Chinese are dumb..having a 1/10th of a peanut size brain and have corn flakes as snacks all the time..
if it were that dumb..people using MADE IN CHINA brand are even more dumber..
in short..this is prelude to what is to come not in the near future..but would be 80% in some years..
P.S - good one to keep emotionally picked up..and attached..

thus messing with Pakistan militarily is not a great idea..
The pakistani soldiers left eating grass on the kargil hills should have taken comfort from this fact...It would have given them a warm and fuzzy feeling and distracted from the fact that they were getting kicked out of the mountains they had sneaked up on and their leadership was loathe to even acknowledge their existence..

Fahd Raza: I`d say your analysis is juvenile but I`ve read writing by Paki generals and air marshalls so I know that this is probably taken as seriously as the self-deluded stuff coming out of paki think tanks..
Your analysis boils down to this: In the project to create a flying pig, you buy a pig and show a 99% completion rate on your progress report..the flying part if just the last 1%..
