[Please do feel free to search some old archives for an American woman Mrs Daugherty`s deposition about how her husband, Mr William Daugherty, was murdered in a conspiracy by Gandhi`s followers ... and how several people including Gandhi and Sarojini Naidu had tried to coerce her not to tell her story to the world (especially the Americans)... this is the grand cover up of the freedom struggle. In that deposition she names Gandhi as responsible for the murder... So apparently not only black people but by 1930s all white people were also the enemies.]

Yasser, when you accuse Gandhi of something, it is upon YOU to prove the accusation. Otherwise, it would seem that you`re badmouthing him simply because he upstaged Jinnah.

As far as terrorism is concerned... I lived through the 1980s when RAW was doing USSR`s dirty work in Pakistan ... every day there was a bomb blast... in Lahore of all places... perhaps the roots of terrorism lie somewhere other than your repetitive fascist propaganda don`t you think?

I would certainly suggest that India actually does something about precise assasinations of these Pakistani jehadi leaders since they draw their sustenance from the likes of HP and YLH within Pakistan......................unless this war is taken on the door steps of the likes of LeT goons and their intellectual supporters like HP the communal incitement by Pakistani jehadis would continue in the near future as well..............

May be ISI was involved, may be not. If ISI was not involved then was some local Muslim subversive group involved acting independently? Such allegations (that local IM group working independently) are more damning for IMs than blaming it on a foreign hand.

Foreign hand or not such operation is impossible to do without help of some locals who are sympathetic to this (foreign or local) cause. So locals will be blamed regardless. Some bad apples may cause entire lot to be declared unfit.

If the power does lie with people, it is probably not as simple as not doing anything. Police may suppress Pavlovian response but feelings underlying such response will simply go underground. People will speak bad things not openly but in hushed voice. In coming month 2000 may not die but passion might be filed away in the collective mind as something to be disposed off either through therapy or through violence. Some catharsis has got to happen. Either 2000 now or something bigger later. Something bigger what? Holocaust?

What is different now as compared to (say) 50 years back is now USA also sees evil character of Islamic fundamentalism. Reagan may have embraced Islamists arguing that in their war against godless anti-capitalism, believers of all faiths are brothers. But Americans now know things are not so simple. If anything people now know it is that the things are not so simple. If now Americans say that in their war against terrorism Hindus (with secular pretense or otherwise) are their brothers then they are yet to let India draw natural conclusions from events like this. May be India does not want to draw conclusions. After all a national government does not behave like a dog in Pavlov`s experiments. People may behave like that but governments wait. Wait for opportune moments. Or they fight proxy wars. Let Americans do dirty work of fighting terror.

May be the scourge of Islamic fundamentalism will be gone only when many powerful nations become victim of it. May be 9/11 has driven a final nail in the coffin of Islamic fundamentalism. Time is ticking. May be India will ``use`` (even if unwittingly) this event to unite its disparate ethnic groups to a united goal (whatever that is).

It is unfortunate that a very small minority of radicals and misguided psychos, who happen to be muslims, have become to epitomize the religion of Islam. The fact is that vast majority of populace in muslim countries is peace loving and believes in the greatest respect for life and property for all every human. The victims of these hate mongers terrorist criminals have been more often the Muslims themselves than any other community.

When the entire muslim community is blamed for such acts, it only strengthens the agenda of criminals. The masses have been victims themselves, and have nothing to do with these crimes.

The letter from the lady states

1- Sarojini Naidu offered to bribe her to shut up about the murder of her husband William Daugherty and not to implicate Gandhi and the freedom movement.

2- She was later taken to meet Gandhi who repeated the same to her and told her she must not speak of it to the Americans ... and that he was ready to pay anything for her silence.


This letter is quoted in full in the book ``Gandhi behind the mask of divinity`` on page 277.

[I express my deepest sympathies to the victims of this carnage. The perpetuator of such henious crimes do not are senseless criminals who will get punished in this life and hereafter. I do not think any religion, let alone Islam, ever promotes or justify such deplorable actions. The vast majority of Muslims in Pakistan can feel the pain and dileema of the victims and pray for them. Our hearts go out for the innocent people who have been ruthlessly harmed.]

The Muslim masses can do several things:

1. Not bring religion into secular worldly things.
2. Not Worry about Allah`s will for every little friccin thing
3. Not curse America, Israel, and kaffir Hindus
4. Severely condemn Muslim fanatics that exist in huge numbers amongst them


If Pan-Islamic things find a resonance amongst Indian muslims, and they go on a riot, it is equally just that Hindus expect them to raise their voices, and show support to Islamic terrorism unleashed on non-muslims WITHIN INDIA and elsewhere. Where were protests as large as the recent ones in Mumbai and Hyderabad with Muslim and Commie participants when the Bamiyan Buddha statues were bombed? I remember people saying (understandably) that those were things happening in other nations and Indian Muslims cannot be expected to protest. The Shahi Imam (TERRORIST NUMBER 1, with Sultan Salauddin Owaisi coming a close second !!) of Delhi masjid actually supported the bombing of the Bamiyan Buddha statues. Farzana did too !! Why are Indian Muslims protesting and rioting now? One thing is clear - no other religious group is as fanatic as Muslims are in terms of strict adherence to age old nonsense. No other religious group is in as much denial as Muslims are. The Indian politicians are pimps, no less. They can sell their country to Pan-Islamic and Communist causes. Look at the glamour they attach to receiving Saudi or other Mid-Eastern Sheikhs. Friccin Dhimmis !

There are two ways to respond to this latest outrage -

1. Offensive - A massive increase in funding/arming of the Balochistan sardars via Afghanistan and Iran. India has consulates all over Afghanistan and of course, Iran. It is time to make a massive influx of money and arms into Balochistan and give them whatever it takes to make life miserable for the punjoos in Pakistan. The Baloch are not linked to OBL, so the US will not mind this action. Pakis have the right to take advantage of our weakness and conversely, we have every right to take advantage of their weaknesses.

2. Defensive - There is an immediate need to fence the border with Nepal and Bangladesh. Most of the terrorism is now happening via Nepal and Bangladesh since the Pak frontier is all fenced up. By fencing and even mining the border, we can prevent troublemakers from entering India and brainwashing locals. We urgently need to initiate a visa regime with Nepal so that riff-raff do not enter India from that side. ]



I like your line of thought. I have been suggesting 1) and 2) for the longest time. There is a third angle:

3) Massive relocation of non-Kashmiris into Kashmir (like Pakistan`s good friend China has done in Tibet), and then push into POK and do the same there (POK is ours legally).

Kashmiris would be reunited under a secular government.

Pandits can go back to their ancient homeland.
