A typical Pakistani mind is de-facto tutored and brought up on a good dose of communal history. What we see on chowk are products of Islamic studies taught by the state and the perverse TNT extolled by the mullahs. So much so that they cannot even think of muslims living in peaceful co-existence with other communities. All this manifests in the passive acceptance of violent jehadism within the Pakistani muslim community .......
Mumbai Muslim NGOs Condemns Varanasi Blasts
An despicable attempt to revive the infamous act of Godhra in Up
Mumbai, 8 March, 2006: The serial bomb blasts rocked the peaceful holy city—Varansi, UP on Tuesday, March 07, 2006. It is a shameful act and must be condemned in one voice by the whole nation. The blasts in the city are feared as a conspiracy by some bad elements to disrupt the social and communal harmony of the country. Muslim NGOs of Mumbai- Mumbai Aman Committee, Markazul Ma’arif Education and Research Centre (MMERC) and Movement for Peace and Justice (MPJ) unequivocally condemn this heinous crime and demand that the Central and State governments should make high level enquiry and punish the real responsible vehemently.
There is no denying the fact that of late some “anti-national`` elements in India and in our ‘neighbouring country’ have become a real threat to the national unity and integrity. Peaceful living amongst Hindus and Muslims in India does not suit them and therefore, they may go to any extent of inhumanity to achieve their political goals. It is very much likely that those who set Godhra on fire in 2002 might have UP on their next target. Even some politicians may find it a chance and take political mileage out of the incident giving it an anti Muslim twist. Farid Shaikh (Mumbai Aman Committee), M. Burhanuddin Qasmi, (MMERC, Mumbai) and Dr. Azimuddin (MPJ) in a joint statement said, “The very birth of Pakistan was against the will and interest of Muslims of India in the beginning. It may be in ISI’s interest to create unrest in our country by killing innocent Indians through nonsense act of terror.”
The three NGOs conveyed condolence to the affected families of Varansi and requested urgent delivery of already announced compensates to them. They also cautioned the nation to remain on ‘high alert’ to prevent a repeated Gujarat 2002, once again in UP.

Yes Zeena what you say now makes sense. But the lines you quoted from your #78 are the ONLY lines which are factually true. The other is all so coloured by cynicism that one doesn`t know where it begins and where it stops. Also, Yaar please .. make it a bit easier to read ... you know things like punctuation, paragraphs etc, so a person doesn`t run out of breath trying to read a single sentence.
Having said that, your central thesis appears to be that Jews are smarter (Masters?). I don`t subscribe to that. My central thesis is Jews are not smarter, just more aware, while Muslims are naive. Jews are being used just as Muslims but Jews are using the users back ... (?). If at all, we should commune more with Jews rather than shunning them as userpers and manipulators. Maybe they`ll teach Muslims how they dominate the world now after 3,000 years of slavery, rejection, scattering, and genocide; while Muslims after 1,200 years of world glory and dominance, are at the opposite end in the pits.
That is the question you should ask ZeenaJi. Not become a cynic and blame it to fate and/or the evil empires... and let it rest at that. There`s always an answer to everything.

{{{For benefit of Zeena:
Is the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians basically a religious war?
It is a political war over a piece of land or parts of that piece of land. Religious beliefs, usually certain extremist Christian, Jewish or Islamic ideas, have been used to justify the conflict, especially as to who owns or controls the land and why. The two parties are Palestinians (Christians and Muslims) and Israelis, not Christians and/or Muslims versus Jews. There have been and still are interfaith organizations on the ground helping maintain relationships.
In short, it is a territorial conflict ... not a religious one.}}}}}

In my post # 78 I was much more clear about it. I already gave you my opinion about what you are telling me in your post #211. I am surprised you don`t read my posts clearly and start assuming your own ideology linked with me.
I already BELIEVE there is NO religious war anywhere in the world. There is no religion in this world at the moment in it`s true form. Yes, there are dirty NASTY FANATIC CULTS WHICH ARE trying to control this world for their own motives by ABUSING their religions. RELIGIONS are stents used by such beasts. What ever is going on in Palestine has got NOTHING to do with RELIGION. It is just war of powers and controlling all the resources of this world.
For the benefit of Zeemax.(to make your mind at peace)
Just read my lines in post #78 the following lines. Next time, please before you make any assumtions about me. Read my post with clarity of your mind. Thank you. Here are the lines from my post for your convenience.
{{{{Now, whats going on in Palestine? Is it simply Jews and Muslims hate for eachother or is it more to it?}}
As every one of us know, the movement of Israeli creation is called Zionism and it didn`t start with the holocaust but began at the end of 19th century to control browns through out the world. Nigeria and Argentina were also considered for new Jewish states, but, to control oils was more suitable for great Jews and America so Palestine was the right target to allocate Israel right at the heart of middle east, Wow. What a smart move}}
zeemax sir jii
Yes, this is quite smart move for jews and America to control middle east right way and control all oil resources and maintain their supermacy. This is the way this world is made right from the start. Even Muslims did the samething in their prime to control the territory. So, it is always like might is right.............................survival of the fittest.
Thank you
Sincerely Zeena

I am sorry to hear about your traumatic experience with that Hasidic gentleman. The only rational explanation for his unprovoked outburst that I can think of is perhaps that the blonde was his daughter and he failed to appreciate your appreciation of her beauty - she WAS beautiful, wasn`t she? (I hope it was not strictly because of her skin color that you were ogling her.)
#370 Posted by Urstruly on March 25, 2006 9:07:40 pm
I was once commuting in NY city subway, accomapnied with a friend. Luckily we got seats very next to the door. It was the month of Ramadan so the friend of mine pulled a pocket Qura`n and started reading it while I just sat there contemplating that the blond in really short skirt standing in front of me would go straight to hellfire for enticing momins like us in Ramadan-ul-Mubarik. Across the isle from us there was a Hasidic Jew - clad in black, long coat and those funny curly coifs hanging from the sides - sitting and he was constantly staring at us. I noticed him but ignored him because of the blond. When the next station arrived this jew got up from his seat and stood near the door. As the door opened he addressed us ``Do you fuck him or does he fuck you?`` and stepped out.

No one community had claim over India ... Hindus probably were the owners of India in year 1040, but that reality had changed in the ensuing thousand years... Indians were not the masters of their land ...
Well said. It was a question of which flea owned the dog!

Tauheed saheb - with all due respect to your age (for it appears that you have been around for ages) I really do not put much value whether individuals such as yourself ``sympathize`` with me or not.
I speak my mind and I say d.a.m.n. well what I please - whether it ruffles the feathers of old birds such as yourself or not!
Your own (and mian Hamidm`s) ``secular`` credentials have lately become highly suspect in my own eyes since I see individuals like Hate Pot openly espousing Pakistani tactics of creating insurgency in India and guys like the two of you praising him.
What the heck are you - utterly blinded by your religion or simply incapable of comprehension?
If the ``other`` guys do it that becomes abominable - if your ``own`` boys indulge in it - it becomes intelligence embodified!
Such hyppocrites!
Therefore, both of you - feel free to go suck a lemon any time you please! While I value my ties with the people of Pakistan and I consider them no different from the Indians, unfortunately, most of the Pakistanis I see on this site - the bearded, the ``educated`` or otherwise - appear rather good at sulking - and at very little else!!
My viewpoints on censorship are well known to those who have bothered to read it.
Respectfully submitted (and feel free to do whatever you wish to do with such ``respect``)

Besides, I am not trying to determine whether KFC is good or bad. I`m trying to find out who Colonel Sanders was.

``Pakistan’s creation was not based on “some crimes” committed elsewhere. It was a political struggle within India. The Provinces that are part of Pakistan now dominated the struggle. There was going to be no Pakistan if Punjab, Sindh, Bengal, and NWFP had not supported it. Despite communal hatred between the Hindus and Muslims in the Central Provinces, Pakistan was not a viable option in central India.``
This is called the ``heads I win, tails you lose`` argument (suffice to say that the history of Pakistan itself is the counter-argument to it`s creation) but the point here is about the creation of Israel and it`s similarity to the creation of Pakistan. Only two countries in recent history have their origins based on religion and those are Pakistan and Israel. So Pakistanis should be vociferously supporting Israel`s right to exist.
And Israelis have never claimed that they created Israel because of ``some crimes`` commited elsewhere (it`s genesis was more than a generation before the holocaust). They claimed part of Palestine on the basis that it was the historical homeland for Jews.

#313 malik you write instead of personalizing, please stick to providing counter argument.
fair enough. a very good idea indeed, as a matter of fact.
you write ``talking about jewish exploitation of europe is not that same as being ``hateful`` towards jews``
what rubbish!! this shameless demonization of a minority people is a disgrace to the entire continent of europe. i am not going to spend time arguing about who did what to whom, but rest assured that this is neither the first time nor the last time that minority people have been demonized by the majority. In Pakistan, the Ahmedis (among the most well-educated among Pakistanis) were similarly demonized by Bhutto as he buckled under pressure (like a true Pakistani leader) to the mullahs.
Let me leave you with just one food for thought: let`s start, say with the 15th century europe. According to Barbara Tuchman (in ``A Distant Mirror``), jews were required to wear the yellow star (the one made infamous by the Nazis who resurrected this practice). (She goes on to add, btw, that muslims in europe were similarly required to wear the yellow star at that time.)

kumar sahib: I would be more sympathetic to your discomfort with the parenthesis around the the word ``educated`` when used to describe these indians who come to chowk, if you had not in the previous post used the term to describe pakistanis. Perhaps an ounce of restraint in your earlier post would have spared you the need for a lengthy post expressing the great injustice at use of the parenthesis for chowk indians.
as for the indian who has gone insane in his hatred for us pakis and taken to describing himself by a ``paki`` name (i.e. sri devram ``khalid hasan``), it appears that chowk editors decided to take pity on him and deleted all his posts.

Folks,
To tell you the truth, it is the military power that dictates the rules. It is true in Mohammad`s time and it is true now..
Jews have been ridiculed all through thousands of years as stingy/cunning/miserly cowards.. and have never been known as brilliant soldiers (like Hindus I believe..)
Now that they have the superior military power for the last 60 years they dictate the rules..
It is the same case with India / Pakistan. If either party has the military power to change the status quo, they`d do it.. Farzana would be doing great in a Mughal like court.. :-))
Why do you think America gave a rat`s a** to UN and attacked Iraq?.

Hate Pot`s unattributed writeup apparently came from somebody named Stephen R. Shalom (this guy teaches political science at a place called William Paterson University in New Jersey, and he appears to be of the anti Iraq war crowd) and the write-up appeared in May 2002 in something called the ``Z magazine``, which according to its website mission ``.. is an independent monthly magazine dedicated to resisting injustice, defending against repression, and creating liberty. It sees the racial, gender, class, and political dimensions of personal life as fundamental to understanding and improving contemporary circumstances; and it aims to assist activist efforts for a better future.``
Here are some other choice words from another of this person`s articles:
``If we want to dry up the reservoir of support that sustains terrorism and provides it with a constant supply of recruits, the United States has to change its foreign policy.``
Now, here is the part that Hate Pot omits - and is probably more relevant to THIS article:
``To be sure, not all the anger directed against the United States is the result of legitimate grievances. Anti-Semitism of the European variety has been spreading in the Middle East and many want to drive Israeli Jews into the sea. (Bin Laden`s denunciation of ``Jews`` in his public statements suggests that he doesn`t expect anti-Semitism to lose him a lot of popular support in the region.) Clearly, we should not endorse any call for the destruction of Israel. We must support the equal recognition of national rights for Israeli Jews and Palestinian Arabs -- a position backed by a wide international consensus, though not by some Islamist radicals, nor by Israel or the United States.``
Also, some of this guy`s writing hints that India is conducting ``state terrorism`` in Kashmir - a line mian Mushy used to parrot - till SOMEBODY made him see the ``light`` and now he has stopped! I suppose there is nothing like the light.
