...... muslims complaing about bad pr is like that lovable curmudgeon rummy complaining about media bias over iraq ........... there is no good news coming out of the muslim world - it is difficult to get excited about girls going to school in kabul when they are threatening to execute some poor yokel for dumping mo and accepting jesus as his saviour .........
............ and with people like urstruly and sister zeena defending the faith it is easy for folks like khalid ahmed to have a fied day .........
....... by the way, who is this khalid ahmed and what does he want ? ..... is he blind in the right eye and can he perform miracles ?............. if so, we are all in a heap of trouble
p.s ..... true story: last week i was having dinner with a jewish guy and a christian who i have known for twenty plus years .... when the jewish guy went to the restroom jeff turns to me and says, ``you know i am an anti semite who hates both jews and arabs, but dave is one heck of a nice guy - it is too bad he is married to a b**`` ......... there is no moral to the story, so don`t look for one .............. but on another occassion the same guy said, `` you know what the problem with you muslims is ?...... you cannot control your suicide bombers....as far as i am concerned you are the only muslim who is not out to kill me``......... again, there is no moral to the story because the guy is a harvard mba and a dipsomaniac and therfore, like the kennedys, quite unreliable .........

- What is the ``entire game`` about?
Oil.
- What are the ``evil forces``?
People whose civilization depends on `Oil`.
- Since you seem to know why are you not sharing with the non-jehadi muslims?
I am. Through information.
- How come jews know about the ``evil forces`` but muslims dont? Are you suggesting that the muslims are intellectually inferior to the jews?
Not inferior, but naive. They haven`t seen the horrors which Jews have. But they will.

I have a story to tell, I heard as a child. In a Timbuktu kind of kingdom everything was sold at a takka (takka ser bhaaji takka ser khaajaa) a kg. An emaciated pair of a seer and his disciple enters this kingdom. Immediately the disciple settles down into eating binge; chocolates, cakes and other stuffs. Seer however sees rat in this bizarre state of affairs and tries to warn his disciple but to no avail. A few months later a murder is committed and assassin apprehended. After due process of law, the king pronounces the sentence, “death by hanging.” All is set for hanging but the hangman finds noose too loose for the killer’s neck. Utter confusion prevails. After some deliberation the kings declares, “A crime has been committed, punishment must be delivered. Find a man whose neck fits the noose.” The only man whose neck fitted the noose was this fattened disciple. There is no moral in this story or is there? A crime is committed therefore ‘some one’ must be punished!
Khaled Ahmed, think about it.

Ok. These are fair questions.
If it is territorial issue, what are the territories based on? Football teams?
After World War I, the defeated Ottoman Empire was carved up by the European powers and the League of Nations. Various areas became ``mandates`` and the British were given the mandate for Palestine. Mandates were a type of protectorate (some called it colonialism) to move indigenous people to political independence by giving them administrative advice and assistance. In the case of other mandates, such as Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan and Syria, it was assumed that the indigenous Arab people would form their independent states ``under guidance.``
But in November 1917, the British Government announced the so-called Balfour Declaration that favored the Zionist plan of making a homeland for the Jewish people in unspecified parts of Palestine. Throughout the British Mandate (1921-1948) Britain was aware of the conflict between the indigenous Palestinians and the immigrant Jewish people but continued to favor the Zionists, even training soldiers and giving them equipment. When British Mandate troops became the targets of terrorism, especially by organized Zionist militias, Britain decided to end its mandate and the matter was handed to the United Nations. After a commission of inquiry was conducted, the UN passed a plan to partition the area.
The United Nations, on November 29, 1947 by a vote of 33 to 13 with 10 abstaining passed Resolution 181. It divided the former Palestinian Mandate into three parts-a proposed Jewish state, a proposed Arab state, and an international zone to include Jerusalem and Bethlehem.
The 1947 United Nations Partition Plan (Res. 181) gave 55% of the land to the Jews even though they owned only 7% of the land in Palestine and comprised only 33% of the population. The land that was designated for the Jewish state included prime agricultural and coastal land and would have had a large Palestinian population under the Jewish state control. The Arabs considered this unfair.
Now where does religion enter into this? It is almost the same as the Kashmir dispute ...
I`ll handle your next query in a minute ...

zeemax # 318 ``But, as I have said before, Palestine/Israel is a territorial issue, not religious.``
Your having said it before or now does not make it a valid point. Nearly 15 million jews all over world vehemently disagree with your astonishing claim.

[I have said before, Palestine/Israel is a territorial issue, not religious. ]
Yes you have said it before and it has been refuted before as sheer nonsense. If it is territorial issue, what are the territories based on? Football teams?
[ I will venture to say that the Jews are as much being used by those `evil` forces (which Masadi often refers to), as Muslims. Only problem is that Jews know it and use them back; while most Muslims don`t even know what the entire game is all about. I say most because perhaps the Jehadis do.]
So, if you got that revelation, enlighten us mortals too.

really? what if i were to suggest that there is a whole ``holocaust industry`` that is out there milking the european banks, insurance companies, manufacturing companies for all the reparations that they are worth? this is hardly ``internalizing``! I think jews are externalizing it to the fullest to make others feel the pain for persecuting them. Some might also argue that it was this ``externalization`` of this pain that resulted in the creation of Israel.
Yes you may suggest that but your suggestion will be false because they`re not asking for any `reperations`, but only the unclaimed balances their ancestors had with those banks. Many Swiss banks have already honoured these claims after verification of antecedents. Same thing happened during partition and there are still hundreds of millions of unclaimed deposits with Pakistani banks belonging to Hindus and Sikhs.
As for any externalization resulting in creation of Israel, do you think the same European allies who had won WW2 and hadn`t shed a tear on them having been kicked out of their own territories, would have dusted off the Belfour Declaration (which hadn`t been meant for this eventuality in any case) and carved up Palestine through the League of Nations? But, as I have said before, Palestine/Israel is a territorial issue, not religious.
In my humble opinion, `agar jaan ki amaan ho`, I will venture to say that the Jews are as much being used by those `evil` forces (which Masadi often refers to), as Muslims.
Only problem is that Jews know it and use them back; while most Muslims don`t even know what the entire game is all about. I say most because perhaps the Jehadis do. But they`re going about it in their own way. Only time will tell whether they were right to choose that course.
Pre-conceived notions are the greatest enemy. Not the Jews.

Instead of your ``kuttay kaminay`` dialog inspired by c-grade pirated bollywood movies, how about taking me on the leash with your arguments?

Re: # 312
The world has already been violently communalised by Islam. What the whole world is looking for is the cure. But instead of looking inwards, blame is squarely laid on the jews, hindoos, bush,... everyone but themselves.
It is funny you never remembered Besharam so passionately until now. But it provides a clue. That is there is only one cure for this particular malady - the treatment of the criminals should be the along the same lines of the crimes. Any less, they begin to delude themselves that they are the ``sher``. Any less, they begin to wreak more havok emboldened by the ``geedarr`` attitude of the civilized world which would rather be getting along fine with its peace, secularism, democracy and respect for all living creatures. And the accompanying social troubles.
This thread is about jews and them playing victim. But has anyone thought - what was their great crime that millions had to be massacred by another historical g@ndu Hitler? What did they do so incorrigibly wrong to deserve this?
#313 Posted by malik99 on March 25, 2006 5:24:52 am
tahmed # 309 - instead of personalizing, please stick to providing counter argument. Khalid_ahmad, while going on tangent (talking about Pakistan where my argument was about Israel), at least has attempted to put forth an argument.
talking about jewish exploitation of europe is not that same as being ``hateful`` towards jews. just like talking about french exploitation of EU is not the same as being racist towards french people.
if you cant or an unable to provide an argument, it is better to stay quiet than to worry about my redemption.
