One person in the 20th century used cold logic and caused annhilation of more than a million jews. I am talking about Hitler.
Logic is no sutstitute for common sense and compasson.
The best of course is introspection at a spiritual level. Few are able to do this. Logic is mind telling u what is right. Intuition is your own inner soul telling u what is right. Intution, when well developed, is rarely wrong. Logic is never accurate because it is colored by ego.

Islam also contains some original masterpieces. Here are a few:
- Marrying 1st grade kids: Islam original
- Unlimited legal extramarital mutah ``marriages``: Islam original
- Mandatory pussie shaving for women: Islam original
- Community suckling of babies: Islam original
- Marrying nieces: Islam original
- Hatred for dogs: Islam original (A dog scared the shit out of Md. when he was bathing. Conveniently a sura was revealed)
- Clitoris removal: Islamic enhancement
- Honor killing: Islamic original
- Jihad: Islamic original
- Tax for non-muslims: Islamic original
- Sharia: Islamic original
- Banning music: Islamic original
- Banning pictures: Islamic original
So keep poking fun at Islam. It is not going to be around much longer. Mushy has already started distributing the Chinese condoms.

“But do not forget that Palestinians are educated too, despite being shunted from their homeland. What do you mean by Muslims still being part of tribal societies? Having a US lobby is enough to ‘de-tribalise’ you? This is the stereotype that is promoted by certain segments…there is no doubt much to be done in terms of contemporary education, but would you say that countries that are economically well-off are not educated?”
Well! I would say you missed the point completely. There are millions of BA pass but how many are educated? Most of the Muslims are only into second or third generation with western education. All leading countries in the Middle East are pretty much tribal and even though they are getting education, the influence of tribal culture is evident from their actions. I was comparing the influence of industrial society on an individual to the influence of the tribal society on another individual. Who do you think would be modern and who would hold on to primitive thinking…take a guess. The two factors that favor the Jews are: Generation after generations of quality education and influence of the industrialized society on their outlook. Muslims have a long way to go. Education in my lingo encompasses the whole gamut that surrounds a human.
“And who told you IMs are part of ‘tribal societies’? IMs are the most aware…”
I know it upsets you when I call the subcontinent tribal/feudal. Some parts of the subcontinent are completely tribal/feudal and some others are just coming out of that age. If you don’t believe me then how would you explain the caste/sectarian and the sub national differences in those societies? Indian and Pakistani cities are nothing more than overgrown villages with some services in certain areas to give them a supposedly city look. IMs, PMs, BMs, or any other types of Muslims are way behind because the environments they live in are far behind.
India, Pakistan and BD are not industrial societies. These are agro based economies and people living there no matter how many degrees they have, would reflect the influence of the rural and primitive tribal and feudal cultures in their personality and decision making.
In short, when you compare Muslims of the primitive societies with Jews of the US, Europe and even Israel, who grew up in the modern societies you end up comparing apples to oranges and your basic thesis becomes weak and unsubstantiated.
“These are curious but contradictory points. Are you trying to say that it is guilt that makes Israel more acceptable? Then they should be feeling very guilty about Iraq, Afghanistan, East Europe, India? Then you say they do not feel such guilt towards societies they colonised…”
No! Read that again. They are not contradictory. What I am saying is that despite the persecution the US or Europe has no guilt feeling with Africans and Asians even though in some instances, Africans and Asians were treated with equal amount of brutality and contempt that were meted out to the Jews in Europe. So the Guilt about persecuting their own in Europe makes them vulnerable to the Jewish lobby. No matter how much persecution rhetoric Muslims have, or develop, they cannot compete with the Jews in that area and out-sympathize Jews in the US and Europe’s subconscious.
Generally, I don’t think that there can be any collective effort based on a religious identity. It works for the Jews because we are talking about one country with strong western connections. Muslims are not in one country nor do they have any cultural relationship with the West to change anything based on persecution factor. But they can certainly do a few things to change the strategic, political and economic relationship with the West as individual countries or a geographical/political entity like the Middle East.

The British suicide bombers of Paki origin had the best possible education. Did that help them or the British? Can`t help but conclude that it has to be a genetic disorder. Triumph of nature over nurture.

And what about Al Qaeda Khan? A photochor with a PHD (Permanent Head Damage). Education can help only those who are positively predisposed to the concept of knowledge, learning and search for truth.
It only proves that you can always put muslims into education, but you can never put education into muslims.

#95, Farzana Versey, {``Chauhan may not even be his name; he is Pakistani (which when a Hindu says is okay, it has got to be okay)``}
Farzana,
Please give the poor man a break. At least you acknowledged that he is associated with Pakistan. Several Pakistanis have denied him that little recognition - not that being Pakistani is anything to write home about. Curiously, several Pakistanis would even deny him his Turkish blood - as if they perceive that to be a notch above being Pakistani. Now, even you have doubt about his being a Rajput. On a positive note, most Pakistanis on Chowk are glad to bestow upon him a Bihari attribute - as if, in some way, that degrades him to a level that even they feel comfortable about. So, if we defer to Pakistani Chowk opinion, Salim is neither Turkish, nor Persian, and neither Pakistani, nor Rajput, but a ``lowly`` Bihari Qadiani. No, he is not even Muslim. It`s a good thing that Salim has no problem with being identified with the persecuted and the down-trodden. If he really wanted to establish superiority, he would have claimed direct descent from the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and be lost in the 87% of Pakistanis related to the Hashimi clan of the Quraish tribe from the Hijaz. Seriously, Farzana, do you really think that any amount of P&P, repackaging, or ``under new management`` signs can help these people?

Dear Chief Editor
Sorry You misunderstood my post # 78.
My pot-shots were not @ my Jewish masters. How dare can I pot-shot @ Jews? They are the rulers of the world. They have every right to shoot anyone any time with their gernades, AK 47`s and also they can carefully smash muslims under their buldozers. See, I used the word,``carefully``, for those highly successful and ambitious masters. Yes, they always well plan their targets and then shoot them with great care and caution NOT to MISS their preys. They are extremely organized and well trained not just to pot shot ,but to shoot with high skill. I wonder why Dick Cheney didn`t learn anything from them and just pot shot a poor guy.
Do I have the nerves to pot-shot my super supremos? No. Do I have guts to pot-shot my beloved jewish cousins? Absolutely Not. Do I have the heart and mind to pot-shot my masters? Naaa
You see I am highly impressed by Jewish thoughtful tactics(samp bii mirr jaiy aur charrii bii na tootay, excuse my poor roman urdu). And, being the follower of my masters, being the desciple of my gods I have to follow their steps if I wish to be prosperous to meet my destiny.
Rather I pot-shot @ poor, stupid , terrorist Muslims, who are not organized, and who just pot-shot @ jews. Idiots. They are so, stubborn that they have all the nerves to pot-shot jewish buldozers, gernades and AK 47`s with their stones and sandals. How funny this could be. Muslims pot-shoting jewish supermacy`s atomic bombs with wooden sticks and hands. This is hilarious, hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Wonderful comdey.

From The Friday Times
Learning through facts
n 2nd century AD, Emperor Kanishka began the construction of two monumental statues of ‘Standing Buddhas’. The largest ‘Standing Buddhas’ on the face of the planet measured 180 feet and 121 feet tall.
The ‘Standing Buddha’ of Bamiyan was designated as a World Heritage site by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization). Each World Heritage Site is protected under the Convention on the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage (ratified by 180 countries). There are around 812 World Heritage Sites, 628 cultural, 160 natural and 24 mixed properties; each World Heritage site is considered to be of “outstanding value to all humanity”.
On February 26, 2001, Mullah Mohammed Omar informed 29 million Muslims of Afghanistan that “on the basis of consultations between the religious leaders of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, religious judgments of the Ulema and rulings of the Supreme Court of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan…” the pre-Islamic ‘Standing Buddhas’ would be destroyed. The task of destroying the ‘Standing Buddhas’ was given to the Ministry of Information and Culture and Vice and Virtue.
On March 2, 2001, UNESCO Director-General Koichiro Matsuura said, “In Afghanistan, they are destroying statues that the entire world considers to be masterpieces”. Matsuura urged all Islamic countries to pressurise the Taliban.
March 4-8, 2001: Taliban soldiers using antiaircraft weapons, tanks and explosives blew up the ‘Standing Buddhas’. Following the destruction, Maulana Qudratullah Jamal, the Taliban’s Minister of Information, announced the sacrifice of 100 cows.
There is not a single Buddhist either in Afghanistan or in Denmark but there are 390 million Buddhists in China, 90 million in Japan, 62 million in Thailand, 8 million in India, 2 million in Indonesia, 3 million in the United States, 700,000 in Bangladesh, 500,000 in France, 380,000 in Australia and 300,000 in Canada. All put together, world Buddhist population stands at 708 million or 11 percent of humanity.
Interestingly, not a single Buddhist monk around the world issued any edict, decree or command for the 708 million Buddhists to avenge the destruction of ‘Standing Buddhas’. Not a single Buddhist killed another human being or burnt an embassy (Islam always insisted that the killing of another human being is the equivalent of killing the entire humanity).
Next fact. There are 213 million Muslims in Indonesia, 156 million in Pakistan, 144 million in India and 127 million in Bangladesh. All put together, world Muslim population stands at 1.4 billion or 23 percent of humanity.
Collectively, a total of 1.4 billion Muslims, 23 percent of humanity, produce less than 5 percent of global GDP. Even more worrying, GDP of Muslim countries as a percent of global GDP is declining over time. To be certain, 6 out 10 Muslims cannot read or write (of the 1.4 billion Muslims 800 million are illiterate).
Intriguingly, over the past 105 years, 1.4 billion Muslims have produced seven Nobel Laureates; 23 percent of world population with a 1 percent share of Nobel Prizes. Of the seven Muslim Nobel Laureates, four – Anwar Sadat, Yasser Arafat, Shirin Ebadi and Mohamed ElBaradei – actually won Peace Prizes. The three who won in Physics, Chemistry and Literature are Abdus Salam, Ahmed Zewail and Najib Mahfooz (respectively).
Interestingly, Abdus Salam became a Nobel Laureate while pursuing his scientific work in Italy and the UK and Ahmed Zewail won his prize pursing his studies of the ‘transition states of chemical reactions using femtosecond spectroscopy’ at the California Institute of Technology. Furthermore, Abdus Salam is not considered a Muslim in his home country and Najib Mahfooz was stabbed in the back by his Muslim brothers in Egypt (Najib was partially paralysed).

A few reactions on BBC: The British people are pretty pissed with the Muslims, but it is their fault for allowing them into their country in the first place.
Muslims who want to practice Islam, should live in Islamic countries. When non muslims go to countries such as Iran - where I am from - they are told to dress according to islamic codes. Why should the muslims disregard the laws of other countries. Don`t like the law, live the country. I didn`t like the laws inforced on us after the revolution, so I came to the states. If the Islamic system is better, why so many of us live our countries as soon as we get the chance? What has islam done for us?
Would people PLEASE stop suggesting that had she not worn the jibab, she would have been immodestly dressed - she wouldn`t. The `proper` dress code was agreed with the Muslim headmistress and the Muslim council. And by implication, PLEASE stop suggesting that her non-muslim classmates are somehow inappropriately dressed. They wear uniform appropriate to and accepted by their own (UK) culture. Religion does not have ANY monopoly on dress codes.
I assume that the young lady and her team of lawyers / sympathists will now be required to reimburse the school for their expenses and time which could have been better spent teaching.
Yes some of us do condemn her for what she did. That is because we believe she should have never gone as far as she did.She was not brave, she was being childish. Are you really saying that citizens of our country should waste taxpayers money going to court just because we dont like a certain rule and cant always get what we want.Grow up please
A small minority of Muslims have to understand that while living in a British country, you abide by our laws and customs. If the school has a rule on uniform it must be followed. The child’s family could have expressed their human rights better by withdrawing her from the school and either going elsewhere or arranging home tutoring.
This case has done nothing but wasted time, money and possible increased anti-Muslim/religious tensions
``I`m sorry, but it is time that people from other countries who come to live or work here with or without their children should respect that we are NOT an Islamic country and we do not have to follow Islamic rules in schools etc.``
Who allowed this little madam and her family to indulge themselves with taxpayers money in this way. The uniform matter had been agreed between the school and Muslim leaders long ago. It just does not help with integration and relations with other groups. I hear the girl is thinking of going to the European Court, once again there is no worry for her and her supporters about who will be picking up the tab for that.
There is an important dialogue needed to ensure our Muslim citizens do not become a community apart from the rest of us. As with other cultures, Islam will change the UK- it will add its touch to our culture. However, it would be arrogant to assume that Muslims will not need to adapt too. Demanding that Muslims be exempt from uniform requirements and pick and choose lessons does not strike me as ``integration``. Compromise will be needed.

At least you live in an age where you can voice your dissent against perceived injustices and not fear being wiped out. In the days when muslims were in power other religions had no such luxury, it was pay up, put up and shut up. At least the palestinians have support for their right to exist including from the jews of israel, my dear zeena there was no such mercy or kindness shown during the glory days of the muslim powers, it was wipe out through death or conversion, your region and afghanistan are living proof of that, not a trace of buddhism left anymore. Be thankful, the west is a lot more civilised than that, in spite of their overwhelming military superiority. I shudder to think what the fate of this world might have been had the muslims possesed such military might.

Nice note HP.
What you said about generations of higher education and industrial familiarity amongst Jews is true. Living in an industrial society it`s not just about persecution and image but real things like positive contributions in economics, science, music . Ashkenazi Jews have contributed to Western society way beyond their numbers.
As for your last paragraph , look at a book like ``King Leopolds Ghost``. But no European spends time worrying about the atrocities committed in the Belgian Congo. The Africans have not contributed to the west, cheap slave labour is no contribution and they are not PLU.
Similarly the much celebrated professor Niall Fergusson says the British Empire was a good thing for India glossing over things like the Bengal Famine etc and the complete destruction of Indian economy.

Mr. Tahmed Sahib,
Your point about Muslims needing education was quite idealistic. Of course they need education, just like they need oxygen, clean water, and decent toilets. In Saudi Arabia they have all that - except water of any type, clean, distilled, or of the fire variety. Don`t forget that almost all of the umpteen 9/11 hijackers were educated and some even had post-graduate degrees, notably Mr. Attaboy who was specializing, of all things, in ``town planning.`` In fact, many of those cowering in the caves near Kohat are also quite educated - with their PCs, satellite phones, and PDAs. What Muslims need more of is tolerance. Tolerance of each other and tolerance of things, people, and customs that may not be in line with Koranic specifications. No amount of lipstick is going to make this sow a beauty contestant. :)

Women supporting Islam is the best example of how deep rooted this brainwashed malaise really is. Perhaps there are women who loved to be imprisoned in burqas, and are proud of having their polygamist men frolicking with as many women as they wish. What can I say it is a diverse world of diverse preferences.

Yes, my dear Hindu Indian friend. You are absolutely right. These muslim women are happy to be imprisioned in burqas and are proud to have their men having more wives.
My dear friend
You seem pretty smart on pointing out this black hole of muslim women cultural stupidity.
Why don`t you advice these poor , pathetic muslim women to follow your foot steps and take off their clothes and be involved in polygamous relationships? After all it is a diverse world of diverse preferences.
