[....I see Modi without his dhoti....]

you got to get some help man :))))

now seriously - I understand where you are coming from - but this india-gandhi-nonviolence stuff has been blown way out of proportion..... people have an annoying way of pushing this line in most inappropriate of times.... I mean - hey, we all know india produced gandhi and non-violence and stuff - but that don`t mean we just roll over and play dead in face of extreme threats and provocation.....

The islamic extremism threat has been hanging on us for a long time.... the world has never bothered, muslim countries and muslim civil societies, intellectuals, elites, kings, emirs have never given a hoot and have in fact actively encouraged it...... this has gone
for almost 15 years now.... where were you people then?....

Now that we are fighting back - you come lecture us on gandhi and non-violence?.... kamth and ramanujan have just talked - they have not actually done anything.... and yet you crashing on them like a ton of bricks..... what about all the jihad that has gone on for so long?...... where are you at that time?... did you lecture your brethren on non-violence?... did any of you guys ever made an attempt to stem the violence?.... stem the flow of funds?... the jihad donation boxes?....took out a rally on behalf of the hapless kaffirs? anything? anybody?.....

You are a good guy.... but please never quote gandhi/non-violence to Indians again?..... the farce has gone too long....

[When I meet Indians who are peaceful, objective, and non-violent, I see the benign face of Mahatam Gandhi. When I encounter Indians who are gloating about the prosepct of Muslim blood and drooling at the mouth for violence, destruction, and death against Muslims, I see Modi without his dhoti. ]

When it is the case of Mohammed, I see Muslims glorifying him without discussing any evidence for or against against him. When it is the case of Modi, I see Muslims domonising him without discussing any evidence for or against him. To this day, I have not seen ONE Muslim write articles or post any comment inviting discussion about him. It is always taken for granted that he is a monster. In sharp contrast, there have been MANY posts from Hindus on this board wanting to discuss the pros and cons about him.

Muslims need to come out of this kind of blinkered mode, and realize that in a civilized society, democratic discussions are needed before coming to conclusions. But then this is the legacy of Islam - complete submission without questioning.

.... crucial questions... : why fighter bombers and artillery on a civilian population?....you say, only two out of hundreds of sardars are fighting but why is entire state in ``civil war`` as NYT put it?..... you say, it`s just blackmail - but baloch are poorest in the country despite the fact that gas is flowing from there for a long time.....

-- Yaar Doktor Sahib you got eyes or buttons like Orphan Annie? Read again ... I said ``force has been applied through frontier corps (and not fighter jets nor the military mind you).`` Fighter jets and chopper gunships were used initially in the operation for surveillance only over the gas installations. Not to strafe or bomb anyone.

-- Again `Iqra` i.e. `Read`! The royalty was never spent on the populations under the Sardari system by the Sardars, and under the system the Government could not spend independant of Sardars. Only now the Government has started disbursing development funds directly to local government reps i.e. the city Nazims. That is when Musharraf came under rocket attack in the ceremony distributing Rs. 2 billion ... remember? Do a google.

-- Under the constitution, all natural resources are the asset of the federation, but royalty has to be paid. That has been done without fail. If Baluchistan is given all rights over gas, then NWFP and Punjab`s dams and canals will also revert to them and they should charge whatever they want to other provices for water & electricity. That`ll be great for NWFP/Punjab but what about the rest of the country? Can Baluchistan drink gas and turn on gas lightbulbs? No microwave ovens for sure.

So its a little bit more complicated than your cute little brain can handle. Hey take my advice. Get one of your visiting shrinks to slot you in between appointments to examine your head.

Good point. I agree. Kurdistan has been in the wings for a long time and this time around they won`t miss the opportunity.

[I see. How much time does it take for oxygen depletion for the Iranians as against the Americans? Pray tell.

You forget birdbrain that the Iranians were fighting a ten-year war with the then american stooge saddam at the same time as against americans themselves. Their oxygen didn`t run out for ten years. So ....?]

No. You`re the birdbrain. Here`s why:

Iran was selling oil all through the Iran-Iraq war. So there was no question of oxygen depletion.

See?

No?

Ok....

#37 should iran have nukes?

this unfortunetely not chowk where ``balance`` sometimes gets brownie points. the answer to the question, of should mulla-regime of iran have nukes is a categorical NO. a regime who is acts as an inspiration for every bleeding heart jihadist from islamabad to michigan cannot be allowed ANY military might whatsoever. And that is why civilized world from Denmark to Dubai will support attack on irani nuke establishments.

and offcourse the saudis and kuwaitis regimes will support this..american populance will also support it (based on my talking to white-bread burbies).

Ram Bhai,
The truth comes out - I put the bait out and you fell for it, hook, line, and sinker. :) In an earlier post, you had no problem in giving an example of Hitler being the worst of them. But when the topic shifts to Modi, you are all defense with one too many men on the field. Come on, my friend, Modi was throughly responsible for his administration that gave us a state-sponsored massacre of thousands of innocents. Yes, Modi is a democratically-elected murderer as was Adolf. Now we know where you stand and what your motives are. You, like your hero, just want to shed Muslim blood. May the light of Mahatma Gandhi find you.

Mohar Bhai,
I am glad that you are fighting back - self-defense is always justified. Just make sure that the RSS/BJP/VHP/BD/JS/SP bunch go after violent jihadis and not little girls, young women, and old men and women when they do. You have every right to defend yourself against terrorists but not with state-sponsored genocidal cowardice. Yes Kamath and Ramanujan were merely talking. But instead of presenting arguments and viewpoints, they were merely gloating and drooling at the prospect of an all-out attack on Iran. To them it doesn`t matter whether Iran is the source of terrorism or not.

And yes, I have always spoken out against jihadists, terrorists, and murderers. Whether they are Al-Kayda, LeT, Tally Ban or RSS/BJP/VHP/BD/JS/SP. Killers are killers regardless of the green shalwar or the orange dhoti they put on to fool others.

Re:salim_chauhan#57

Salim bhai, most Indians do not relish the prospect of the Iranians being attacked by the US. Iran has been a very good friend of India and there is no apetite for seeing a Iraq style fiasco being repeated in Iran.

At the same time, the Iranians seemed to have lost their minds as they are literally hell bent on inviting destruction. From making extreme anti-semitic statements, testing advanced missiles that avoid radar detection, to a dogged determination to enrich uranium, Iran seems to be on a suicidal course. The bizarre thing is that it does not make any geo-strategic sense. The US has made such a huge mess of Iraq that Iran is naturally becoming the leader in the region. The US is tired of Iraq and is eager to leave. If Iran plays its cards sensibly and sees that a shia-domianted government gets power and stabilizes Iraq, then the US will leave and Iran will become the most powerful country in that region. Instead of sitting tight and profiting on US mistakes, Iran is shooting itself in the foot by behaving insanely and jeopardizing its own security. As they say about our sikh cousins - kar di na sardaron wali baat!! :-)

This is where the ummah/OIC or any other Islamic entity needs to step in and have a heart to heart discussions with the Iranians. Someone needs to put some sense in them.

Heh heh. Good try. But you see, I have been dealing too long with tahmed32 and Mantolives to let false accusations bother me.

Watch me swat THIS ONE away:

You said: ``when the topic shifts to Modi, you are all defense``.

I said: ``When it is the case of Modi, I see Muslims demonising him without discussing any evidence for or against him.``.

So therefore I was not GLORIFYING him, like you do Muhammad, not even DEFENDING him, like you deo Muhammad, but merely pointing out that there is a complete absence of discussion about him - muslims go straight to calling him names. He might well deserve to be hanged - but I never see any discussion about evidence for or against him. IN COMPLETE CONTRAST, THERE IS DISCUSSION ABOUT THE PROS OR CONS REGARDING MUHAMMAD, FOR EXAMPLE.

[Come on, my friend, Modi was throughly responsible for his administration that gave us a state-sponsored massacre of thousands of innocents.]

And what evidence have you produced in this regard?

[Yes, Modi is a democratically-elected murderer as was Adolf. Now we know where you stand and what your motives are. You, like your hero, just want to shed Muslim blood. ]

This ``proves`` my ``motives``. :)

Therefore you don`t have to worry about not being able to logically refute my arguments. :)

Coincidentally convenient, isn`t it?

Zeemax,

The Americans never tried to cut off Iran`s ability to sell oil on the international market, the last time around. This time they will.

Now who`s the bonehead?

Okay, okay, I`ll supply the answer - YOU are! :)

I see. Didn`t they freeze Iranian bank accounts during the embassy siege? How did the Iranians get paid for Oil sale on international market? In Dirhams? Playing Marbles? Sacks of potatoes? There wasn`t even Euro then ....!

Boy ... you`re really dumber than dumber. Peabrain would be too generous a definition for you ...

Forget Iran. The next in line is Pakistan with all its bearded mullahs and nukes. All the surrounding countries will help the invasion for the simple reason that everybody is fed up with paki Islamic jehad. Time to wake up Pakistan.

Yes. But ONLY bank accounts under THEIR control. Also, they were not militarily preventing Iran from exporting oil.

So you see, YOU are the numbnuts.
