Dear Writer,
I never meant that you need a market but the Americans are the one`s who are creating markets all over the world to sell thier weapons .
They talk about peace but they do against it.
Hope you understand what I wrote.
It is all true and very sad. I`ll be looking forward for your next article .
Keep up your good work.

Re: # 5
Thanks Mahjabeen.
You sound very human
: o )
because often it is easy to become numb, so that we no longer care. Although there are some ``reality shows`` on TV, the start looking the same as soap opera`s. Like the language of war and football, on TV, becomes interchangeable.
Thanks for caring about what happens in our world

Thanks Shantygal.

A friend told me, politics is everywhere, for example, the politics of a relationship between man and woman. The politics at work, in the group we work in, the boss, the co-workers. Any interaction with someone of a different race, religion, often creates a reaction, a measurement of who`s better, a comparison. A question rises in the subconscious: who`s dominant, who has more power. How do other people`s actions effect us.
Can we ignore War, Weapons sales, God, America, Racism, Imperialism and history, simply by labeling all of the above as ``Politics``?
The goosebumps tell the truth
: o )
Thanks Shantygal.

Re: # 2
This sounds very interesting. Please let me know which movie. Sean Penn has done some great work, often emphazing real life versus fiction.
You`ve got me interested in this movie.
Thanks

Re: # 1
It seems you`re asking a complex question with several variables. I`ll say the answers are out there. I always recommend:
Noam Chomsky
Howard Zinn
Arundhati Roy
Cornell West
Edward Said
Eqbal Ahmad
http://kpfk.org ... our local radio station in L.A. supported by listeners only.
http://freespeech.org ... Free Speech TV on Dish Network, hidden at Channel 9415
Perhaps you can share some answers. I`m sure you have some.
Thanks

Dear Writer,
It`s true and is very frightening.I used to think about it when I was inPakistan and I am still thinking. It used to frighten me then and now it depresses me.
Some times I think a single voice makes a difference .We should atleast start talking about it openly.
Thanks for the approbation.

The hard core reality ....... I`m not much into politics but can see what`s going on all around the world . The pitty is that... with all this advancement and technology the prime suspect = the innocent man ...who is only worried to feed his feeble parents and hungry, scared children...who is scared to death .....``would he be able to make it or not``
But this is buisness !
You know what ?
You need a market man.

reminded me of a monologue by sean penn`s character in a movie .. pretty much along the same lines ..
``Eddie: In the Middle Ages everyone really had to worry about witches and goblins, but what we have is stuff eating at us. We`ve got stuff we don`t even... I mean, why do you think that all the warlords of the world are so anxious to get their own personal little stash of chemical weapons. They call them weapons of mass destruction, but they`re not. They`re very *very* selective about what they destroy. They annihilate people and preserve things. They love things. You and I would be dead, gas... puke... gone. Whereas, you know, other earlier older people - the ancients - could look to the heavens, which in their minds was inhabited by this thoughtful, meditative, you know, maybe a trifle unpredictable and wrathful, but nevertheless up there - this divine onlooker. We`ve got anchorpersons and talking heads. We`ve got politicians who decide life and death issues on the basis of their media conceitedness. That`s what we`ve got.``

Fazeel:
Nice observations.
Are we lacking a system of check and balance over power imbalance by America. Or it is birth tagged right of America to establish weaponary exclusives and trade them off.
How can this be judged, understood , policized, politicaly analyzed and sanctioned?
