the way pakis passionately keep babbling on Muhammad, some guy called Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, and other guys called Ali and Abu Bukar etc - one would think these guys are still alive and are some kind of bedouin politicians or something.....

I mean, these people lived some 1400 years ago.... herded camel and massacred a bunch of other hapless tribals... and talked a lot of gibberish about Allah and stuff.... they lived and died by stupid tribal customs of the middle ages - and yet, now in 21st century - people are still arguing and killing each other in their names.....

As if 1400 years in the middle had made no differnce - made no great disciveries, fresh ideas.... it`s as if nothing happened since Old Mo kicked the bucket.....

Get over it, fools.... live in your age, your time.... Let Old Mo, Akmad, Ali and whole other bunch of no-good bedouins go to he!ll[which is where they are right now].... these people are nothign but trouble for you guys.....

As far as i know, Ahmediyyas are not discriminated in India. And, Ahmediyya`s religious head quarter is in Qadian, Indian Punjab.
You may seriously consider moving to India with your family.
You may be safer there.

I have a temporary solution to the injustice meted out to our Ahmedi brothers by the intolerance of the right-wing extremist Wahabbi Sunni Mullah-dominated ``majority.`` Why don`t you guys become Shias? For the moment, until they pass some fresh new laws, we Shias are still considered Muslims. These Sunni extremists don`t have the guts to pass any laws against the Shias. Sure, these Sunni Wahabbi fundo terrorist cowards can blow up Buddha statues in Bamiyan, Shia shrines in Iraq, train stations in Madrid and London, Shia mosques in Karachi, and tall buildings in NYC and flat buildings in DC, but they cannot fight valiant Shias face-to-face. Once you become Shias, you are welcome to add any holy people to honor in any form you like - including pictures, paintings, and images of your leaders - but, no cartoons, please. As Shias, you will add to our numbers and together we will defeat the intolerance, injustice, and cowardly terrorism of these fanatics.

This is utter nonsense. Whatever Mr. Kulharee is doing is in 2006. The irrational, illogical, and intolerant set of ``laws`` were passed in Pakistan over a quarter century ago. Ahmedis are very respectful, in fact much more respectful than fanatics, fundos, and terrorists like Wahabbis, when it comes to the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Ahmedis are not the ones going around maligning the good name of Mohammad (PBUH) like ``Mohammad`` Ata did.

If we use Atif2`s logic, then because of the acts of a few, the entire Muslim population should be held accountable and made to suffer. Nowhere in the world - Iraq, Wana, Banares, Delhi, Srinagar, Baluchistan, Gujarat, Bosnia, NYC, London, Paris, Madrid, Afghanistan, Istanbul, or Karachi, are the Ahmedis engaged in wanton killing, destruction, throat-slitting, bombing, terrorist acts, or rapes. The senseless yet barbaric acts of blowing up the Buddhas in Bamiyan or the shrines of the Imams in Samarra were acts by Sunni ``Muslim`` fanatics, inspired by the satanic Wahabbists. It is the Ahmedis who are working sincerely as missionaries in Africa and elsewhere, making Islam the fastest growing religion in some regions. I do agree that the Islam Ahmedis preach is substantially different from the one exhibited by Wahabbists, Tally Bans, and Al-Kayda - all Sunni ``Muslim`` mutilations of an otherwise great and peaceful religion.

So, please stop your bigotry and hatred from persecuting a benign, peaceful, and learned community. Instead you should look in the mirror and see the real culpirt who divides Muslims along sectarian lines and gives the enemies of Islam plentiful ammunition to destroy our good religion. In fact, I am convinced that you terrorist, fundo, extremist Wahabbi guys are the real enemies of Islam. May Allah give you your just rewards in hell.

A point requires clarification which I did not deem necessary: I don`t ascribe to any of the Ahmadi beliefs as a matter of choice nor was I ever an Ahmadi per se atleast theologically. You could say I am a non-practising, non-believing Ahmadi if there is such a thing.

However my views are entirely my own and I do not claim any membership of Ahmadiyya theology... I was by faith a sunni Muslim for most of my life and have now converted to Ismaili Sect of shiite Islam. However my father and my paternal family continue to be Ahmadi and very staunchly so and I respect them and consider them Muslims ...

I agree with b- in so much as that Ahmadis have gotten some excellent opportunities in Pakistan as they were the most advanced of the Muslim bourgeoisie in 1947....

In a- the Ahmadi belief about the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is that he was the greatest of all Prophets and the last prophet with a shariat. It is a legitimate position and you may check with any Ahmadi as to what status Mirza Ghulam Ahmad holds in relation to the Holy Prophet....

I saw it when you abused the Holy Prophet (PBUH) ... which is your view but the problem starts when you transpose your beliefs onto an entire community. Therefore - my suggestion was simple ... clarify that your personal views on the Holy Prophet are not reflective of the entire community. If you think that I speak on behalf of the entire Jammat, you must be high on aspirin. And buddy, I don’t have to clarify my views for nobody. I am not that friggin important that I feel a need to do that.

This is not about what you believe or what I believe, because no one gives a hoot about that. You can be Ismaili or Ibrahimi or a jalaybee worshiper. It doesn’t change anything.

The quote is in context. My point was that ... since the politics of partition has been inverted on its head.... it is unfair to take back the entire thing ... since equally valid would be an argument about who brought the mullahs into the forefront of politics of South Asia...

I for one don`t blame Gandhi and the Congress for unleashing Mullah street power... any more than I blame the creation of Pakistan- for which the Ahmadiyya community fought tooth and nail- for the predicament we find ourselves since 1974 and increasingly in the 1980s...

a) Ahmedis respect Mohammad ( s.a.w ) more the Mirza Sahab
how on earth could one respect last prophet (s.a.w) & totally do not agree with one of his
biggest stand ( which was end of prophecy or khatam-e-nabuwat ) comeon , Manto for all the respect for you isn`t it a bit hypocritical stand?

b) Ahmedis whatever the case are better off in Pakistan then in India because you guys as a community supported Pakistan Movement ( agreed ) in return systematic support to Ahmedis in everyfield ( thanks to quota system )

kindly ignore yankee hindus as they are not serious -
again I am of the view that once Mirza Sahab dejects the idea that Ahmediya Movement is part of Islam - problems will be solved !

If every thing has to be taken back to why we got the country- and many have pointed out that Ahmadi discrimination in Pakistan has been carried on the behest of those who had sided with the Congress Party during Partition-


So gandhi is to blame for the fact that if your father was buried in a muslim grave, they`d force you to dig up his body and bury it in an ahmedi grave...or that your father can`t call his place of worship a mosque when ahmedis clearly consider themselves muslims...

That`s clutching at imaginary straw..
