Your insinuations just show the real sickness that pervades your very soul. For example... your illogical and bigoted statement does not explain why if I have converted out of convenience do I so forcefuly associate myself with the Ahmaddiya community still? What personal gain or political advantage would I hope to gain from that. I converted from Sunni Islam to Ismaili Islam at a time when Ismailis were being accused by Jamaat-e-Islami of being zionists... infact that was a strong factor in my conversion.

I am not a disgusting sewer rat like you... but I`ll tell you- conversions are a matter of conscience and only those who are able to think and understand may convert.

If that is true, Mullah`s hatred of Ahmedis is easy to explain- they are just too wealthy, successful and well-educated. Religious dogmas are just a fig leaf.

Ahmadis want to be full Pakistanis... nothing more nothing less... most are unconcerned whether you consider them Muslims or not.

In all religious traditions, good people like you are worth their weight in gold, and more. But the alim nonpareil on Chowk is Zeemax. So let`s pay attention to the many questions he raises.

For instance, how are the people who are ready to compromise going to triumph over the people who are determined to dominate?

How is it going to come about (assuming that fewer things may be wrought by prayers than all of us dreams of)?

Enough of this finger pointing, calling names and trying to tell the other person that he is Kaafir or on the path to hell !!!! There is no win-win situation in the matters of religion which is highly personal in my opinion. As long one calls him/her a Muslim others should respect that and leave the rest for judgment day and for Allah to decide who was right and who was wrong. This is a never ending debate and I am kind of SICK of it…

The fact is a man who calls one a kafir himself becomes a kafir, vis a vis, that person at least, unless he claims himself to be God, knowing what is in other peoples` heart, commiting thereby an obvious sin of `Shirk. How paradoxical; when a person says he is an Ahmadi they believe him but when he claims to be a Muslim they say he is a lier and the founder of their sect an imposter. What a theatre of absurdity is this Pakyland!

What mirzaees face in the way of ``discrimination`` in Pakistan is nothing compared to what Sindhis, Baluchis, or even Mohajirs face. Shias and Sunnis in Pakistan clash due to military`s rape and plunder of Pakistan. Ethnic groups clash for same reason. However, in the case of mirzaees, it is their incitement that causes much of the rage. Still, even the sworn enemy of mirzaees, Maududi, called for guaranteed seats for them in the Parliament. The current situation in regards to mirzaees in Pakistan is not that of ``active persecution`` that this article seems to suggest.

I think it is in the fate of Pakistan that whoever fight for its casue get themselves descriminated. Ahmadiyas get descriminated in their own land in independent Pakistan. Another group of patriots show same resolve and loyalty to Pakitani flag, are now rotting in Bangladesi camps as ``standed Pakistani``.

I am not sure if indeed those four positions are Manto`s own. There may be some truth in saying that a lot of ``educated`` Pakistanis (like him) know their inherent lack of consistency and the duplicity of their logic but are too scared to face up to it.

There is always the possibility that if they can somehow ``sell`` that vision - hey, the general population will start seeing for itself how ``wrong`` it has been - and things will go down the honky-dory way from there onwards.

So they close their eyes shut. They shut it real hard and hope that when they open it, it will be a brand new world in which all their dreams will come true.

And all the REAL events that have taken place - why they may have been just nightmares!

Never happened and it had nothing to do with THEM.... oh, no, no, noooooo.......!!

We should wish him well, if that`s what he is working on. But unfortunately Paki liberalism doesn`t go too far when it comes to anti-India hostility- because of their schizophrenia or massive anti-India blind spot.

Our self-image is not based on ant-Pakistan, unfortunatley theirs is nothing but anti-India.
Truths are unpalatable, so hold on to Pakistani ideology lies.

They got a massive chunk of land, rivers, mountains, natural resources. Suppose they focus on building roads, factories, and start doing semi-conductor research or something!!!
We wouldn`t even be on this board chatting with Manto along these lines.

Instead let`s see what Manto lives for and speaks on:

1.India should not become permanent member of security council,
2.Indian military strngth should not be proportionate to its size and economy but should be responsive to tender Paki sensitivities,
3.while 150 mil muslims live in every nook and corner of India Kashmiri muslims should be ``liberated``,
4.we gaurantee second class citizenship and slavery to Hindus in our Islamic republic but we are the angel gaurdian protector of Indian muslims,
the list goes on and on.
