i know individuals who follow some of the patterns which you speak off.
some of them are inherent within myself.
but your article provided a greater understanding of it all.
thank you :)

Khalid Sahib:

You might have read Nasir Kazmi`s very non-quixotic verses that explains a temperament of human nature and I feel this is also categorically an unripened love ethic but one cant blame nature and its laws that it enforces on us:

Niyat-e-Shauq bhar na jaye Kahi.n
Tou bhi Dil say utar na jaye Kahi.n

It is a prominent nature of person to be inquisitive and become skill of coming close to another person and this is sometimes juvinelly called as ``Crush`` that fades away with maturity of time relation. These relations are time short but they do deal with natural instinct and sense to vanquish your thoughts for others...

And Poetry is also a communicating bridge and it also holds many psychological esteems.

Dear Madeeha...we all pass through different stages of personal and social growth. Some

families and cultures enhance such growth more than others. Being aware of our strengths

and limitations help us become better friends and romantic partners. Thank you for your

comments....sincerely sohail

Dear nadia_zehra...poets have wonderful insights in human psychology and relationships.

Being a poet myself I try to capture some thoughts in poetry that I cannot capture in prose

You might like one of my couplets about relationships

aaj kal rishton ka ye aalam hay

jo bhi nibh jaiy bhala lagta hay

thanks for commenting on my article...sincerely...sohail

Dr Sohail Saab Jee,
Aslam Walekum:

Ki haal Chaal Je?

I was wondering if you left Chowk for Good or were on a small vacation?

Nice article and has some good points but it is more of idealistic approach that you are mentioning.

Ek Geet Sadde Pind vich Amlee Gaanda si:

Kisi Nay Majnu nu kya We MajnuYa tere Laila te barrey Kaale Hai.
Majnu ne tunakde hoye Jawab ditta, mere laiala tere te tuahdey dil dono kaale ne....

Point; When people fall in love then they dont care about healthy relationships, only healthy Sex is considered.

thanks

Re: # 7
Dear Delhiwala....aadab arz....thank you for your comments. I agree that many

relationships are about sex and some people sleep with anyone who is attractive and willing

but then some do not sleep with ANY person but only THE person they have respect and

affection and love with. Some relationships are one night stands while others last a lifetime.

I believe friendship is the cake and sex is the icing....all the best....sohail

Re: # 14
Dear articulating.... In my opinion there is two kinds of art and literature....popular art and

escapist literature....like Harlequen Romances....that provides cheap entertainment.

As far as people know it is escape from reality there is no harm but if people take it

seriously then we have a problem. Many Hollywood movies are just for entertainment

so are many Indian films. The second type of literature is wisdom literature that helps us

develop insights in human condition and become better human beings, better friends and

better lovers. Such literature provides not only entertainment but also enlightenment. I

have more regard for such literature. Stories of Manto and poetry of Kabir das, Walt

Whitman and Ghalib are such examples.

My website is www.drsohail.com and my email address is welcome@drsohail.com

sincerely sohail
