........ getting back to the subject of why people like bina shah, who obviously knows better, write silly articles like this one .......

......... well, it is a knee jerk reaction of the privileged classes to defend a system that has been good for them at the expense of the poor masses even if it means getting whacked once a month by their husbands .........it is a small price to pay as long as your maid is getting whacked every day and you get a four carat diamond on your birthday ....... most of farhat hashmi`s disciples belong to this class of self-hating women .............

........ the other obvious reason is the life long indoctrination in the concept that islam is the perfect faith which is under siege by the jews and their lackeys ......... this deep rooted notion can drive reasonable folks like tahmed and bina to get defensive act like fools ......... that is my opinion ... bina might have a better explanation for her irrational behavior .......

........ just to show that i am not a heartless creature, i think the american healthcare system is a shame and the government has to make sure that everyone is covered, one way or the other....... it is not the welfare mommas i am concerned about - they can get medicaid and free orange juice and sandwiches at any inner city hospital - i am concerned about the poor guy who works his butt off ten-twelve hours a day and makes 40-50 thousand a year but still cannot afford health insurance for his family ....... i think governor romney is on the right track in massachusets ......... heck, i will even go so far as to accept a national health service as long as you don`t have to wait a year to get a by-pass .........

If Qoran is so byzantine to be comprehended, then whoever wrote it needs to take some courses in effective writing. Here, this piece by Bina Shah was about a joker of a woman called Ali Hirsi who has a habit of sticking her foot up her black Somali backside, but the intention behind the writeup was not to highlight a woman’s independent thinking but to ridicule the West, and the subsequent debate by jokers like Masadi turning that into further circulate their hatred of the evil called the US, meanwhile completely ignoring the fact that Ali Hirsi could be the result of an oppressive Islamic ideology that treats women like a piece of shyt (thru divine intrusion) and that may (MAY) result into someone with some independent streak (such as Ms. Hirsi or Mr. Rushdie or Ms. Nasreen) into a rebel, while the same oppression tactics may keep an overwhelming majority of women stay oppressed for the fear of being further degraded by their Muslim males, and sometimes they come up with essays as such, to please their Mullah brethren (something similar to Stockholm syndrome). Ms. Hirsi, for all her jerkiness deserves everyone’s admiration for speaking up against an ideology of hatred and revulsion. How many Saudi women have you heard of speaking out against the dog poo treatment specified to them in the land of the Allah?

And as long as you allow for exception in your characterization of welfare mommas, i think you`re right on the money there. Actaully, I can understand your growing impatience, given what you`ve had on your plate on this board. No offence taken!

That said, I am still not convinced about the `symbolic hitting` bit. Hitting is hitting. It is meant to hurt, in order to teach a lesson, even i that lesson is ``Think twice before messing with me.`` When my mother hit me, she did so given her power of authority over me. Since I accept that we were not equals in that relationship, there is nothing to forgive. However, were my father to hit my mother, especially premeditatedly, ``symbolically`` or otherwise, and for whatever reason, would be totally unacceptable, given that they are equals.

And yes, I suppose we can leave the discussion on the viability of gender equality in a system that allows for concubines for one`s sexual gratification for later. That is, as they say, another can of worms.

Why is it that the largest number of poor in the US, among the poor population are women and children who don`t get enough to eat, have no healthcare and are leading the most miserable kind of life possible?

.............why ?....... because the majority of these women are black, obese, lazy, shiftless, have long nails that prevent them from working, addicted to chips and pork rinds, and because it is easier to hatch kids thatn get off their fat behinds and get a job !.......... these are the dredges of society and the process of natural selection will eventually take care of them ........ and pray, one might ask what are their menfolk doing ........ well half of them are in jail and the the other half is busy shooting hoops or shooting up .......... let`s call a spade a spade and not confuse the issue ........ even if these people were married and the men were allowed to whack their women once a weak, the end result would be the same ............ as long as the governement keeps on handing out welfare checks and free cheese, there will be people around to collect it ........... my proposal ? next time somone comes in to collect their welfare check put them to work - if eleven million mexican migrants can find work so can these welfare mommas ..............
