RSS was founded (1920) as a reaction to Muslim League (1905-06). ML catapulted with series of communal riots but RSS could never become such force. They hold their party by the communal name but accuse others in similar way to pre-empt others from saying this communal thing to them. RSS was born & grew bcos of Muslim communalism. BJP came to power due to anti-India rants of Pakistan rulers.

ML is a communal body. I think BJK and others should look at the poison(ous people). Dont touch them and b influenced by them. They are the rotten people and rotten country.

Life is never honky-dory – especially for those who are at the bottom.

Sure there were problems before Jinnah – but people were coping using their local tools and techniques – like they had done for centuries – like it is the logical way to deal with such things. There was no concept of a “marching order” – the land that people lived on was theirs and had not become “foreign” overnight – and had belonged to their forefathers and why would anyone just move away from the land of their forefathers if they have even half a choice?

If a calamity hits you – well, people are quite used to dealing with their day-to-day calamities and the monsoon calamities and the hurricane calamities and the malaria mahamaris and the cholera outbreaks and all kinds of you-name-it’s! And you know what, when people are working on something – they improve the technique through practice (even though it will never be perfect because of the dynamics) and they could have come up with a way to deal with he same.

Desis boast such sharp acumen – you think it was an insolvable problem?

Breaking up the country indeed made it virtually unsolvable – by creating the legacy of partition, by wholesale removal of people, by the khoon-kee-holee that followed, by creating a whole new set of problems and vested interests!

I agree with Manas that Jinnah did us a favour by avoiding this Taliban & Al Qaeda the turmoils of that type. Most important thing for us now is that India is a Secular Republic instead of an Islamic Republic.

And you know what, most people of any faith would have continued to live where their ancestral homes were because they were not suddenly made to feel like foreigners in their own homelands. And another thing, the present day Pakistan would never have become so radicalized as it is now because the liberal elements among the politicians would not have become so enfeebled because of the absence of any minority.

And if you follow the track – there would have been no 9/11, either!
