Poor fella.May be his loneliness is more out of choice than forcing.Who knows what he was thinking as he sat down to ate his food ? Happiness carry different meanings for different people. So carry on with your life and don`t feel sorry or sympathise with such scums. You are not responsible for his myseries so why should you be sad.Poverty is a third world reality and if you start sharing sorrows with this emotional level your own happy life may no longer seem that cosy and lively to you. You`ll be spoiling your own fun. Learn how to turn a blind eye and carry on with your forgranted life.
My personal advice is not even dare to care for him.I personally know a friend whose life was so ruined by some psychopath relatives and friends and some self appointed Godfathers that poor guy had to leave the country to follow a lifestyle of his choice.
I used to be tender hearted like you but after experiencing some shit of persons whom you are even ashamed of calling humans, without any kind of morality, who only keep their interests first and won`t even spend a penny or offer someone a cup of tea without knowing in advance that returns will be in double.
Try to make your social circle as big as you can handle and simply forget that rest of the world exists (if you don`t have any political ambitions).Ours is a society where people have ample amount of time to poke their noses in others life and picking up hints for juicy coffee gossips or discussing others in the family while ignoring what is happening in their own backyards.
I can proudly say that whatever two or three friends i have made in my life are like prized possession and rest are mere acquaintances, when they came and go and new ones made is an insignificant contnuity. The only thing that matters is that there is someone who understands you, your jokes and shares your tastes in things apart from your husband or wife.
I once visited a friend as he was having lunch with teary eyes, red nose and occasional shoon!!! shooon!!!. i asked ``khair tau hai kya hua?``, he replied ``yaar maassi ne saalan mein mirchein ziada daal di hain``. See only difference in perspective no serious thing.
Babar ba aish kosh k aalam dobara neest.

Salams,
Thank you for reading and then reply :)
You are right, no point in looking at tohers sufferings. But my major thought while writing this was that I had been pretty ungrateful so many times!
It wasnt about that man, he was there and like I said could ba a junkie. But my way of precieving the whole situation was different than merely feeling pity/sympathy towards that man.
Thank you so much for your views. take care
Allah Hafiz.

Asalam-u-Alikum
Well Sarosh I would like to congartualte you on wrting such a nice article, I dont know of othersbut while when I was reading your article it made me wonder that what a mockery we make our blessing provided to us by our God
and how much of these things are taken for granted.
I had never realized before and mind you not many writers can do this but u finanlly made me wonder that instead of Whining and complaining we should be thankful to God for a lot of thing that we dont care for, for instance mothers love and lil things like hot food, getting sound worriless sleep , living to the fulliest , having all the senses e.t.c , what could i have done if God has not bestwoed me with one the senses or he would take any one of the blessing which I dont count as a blessing my life would be miserable , left alone actually living without these blessing and cannot even think of this misfortune.
Thanx for changing me now i feel much more content with my life , i fell more satisfied and thankyou for teaching me to be a optimistic not a Pessimist and now i look at the half full portion of the glass instead at the halp empty portion .......
(May allah guide us all and enable us to seek for the light of fortunes Ameen)
