Despite the regular pounding of Palestine for 60 years, Israel cud not eliminate terrorism. Terrorism in India wud die it`s death when Pakistan in the present form cease to exist, I believe. Despite my poor view of Indian police, Bombay police are a notch above the average Indian police and the way they cracked previous cases gives me confidence that they wud crack this case too. Unfortunately some of the perpetrators had left for Pakistan. Now, can we bomb them straight away? I am afraid not.

The way I feel is: dismantle that country. How? Support Baloch independence and Sindhi nationalists. Meanwhile our RAW agent Musharraf is slowly weakening that country from within. That must give us confidence in our Neharwali Haveli boy from Delhi to accomplish our mission. If u think of badla, we dont need special agents. A suicide bomber had already taken badla in Karachi in a small way.

This is certainly an anti IM tirade because you assume that IM would not join. IM have already participated in isolating some of the extreme elements.......you think that the past hauls of arms were because of police `intelligence`? It was all because some nationalist IM with grave risk to his life was exposing the PAk indoctrinated IM-s and giving the inputs to the police.
This time round the operation appears to be tightly controlled by ISI and the entire operation was done with immense secrecy to ensure that no IM is able to leak to the police.

This in not a anti-muslim tirade. I have called upon all Indians to arise. But I am sure muslims will not join in. They have never become a part of mainstream India becuase they never want to become one. Sindhis from Pakistan & Parsis from Iran came to India and are now very much a part of Indian social fabric but the muslims have always kept themselves aloof. I do not blame common muslims for that. But if you just want to remain outside no one can help. I agree that all muslims are not terrorists but then all terrorists behind these henious crimes are muslims. This requires some thinking.

India and Pakistan are both suffering from the menace of extremism. Yet, we still see such incidents occur. We need to be united in our efforts and let not extremists divide us. If our peace process derails, the extremists will declare victory because that`s exactly what they want. They want Pakistan not to be secular, they want India to be destabilized and they want an atmosphere of mistrust between Pakistan and India.

We must not let them win. We have to unite and destroy these facists pretending to be religious and pious people.

Like Israel`s claim for Nasrallah`s death India must ask for LeT Chief`s death........

Tushar you are wrong. Israel is a secular state and yet has yet resolved against terrorism through direct action. It also has its pacifists, right wingers as well as extremists- but the overwhelming mood is in favour of taking the menace of terrorism head on.

Instaed of your Hindutva and anti-muslim tirade you need to appeal to ALL Indians to build up the public pressure to take Pakistani sponsored terrorism head on by using both covert and overt means.

We need to specifically use Covert means - supported by government and outside vigilante groups comprising of ex-service men and TARGET these Jehadi Camps, outfits, personnnel and the Pakistani officials supporting it. This is not a huge organization but a small one to take throug specific operations. I am sure funds from public would not be a problem. The loss to the economy from these bombings was high and every person who was affected by it mentally or physically would definitely contribute to get this anti-terrorist fund moving.

We have to tell them that they are not safe in their rat holes. With sufficient public pressure we would see good results against these Jehadi masters across the border.

I do agree that the political class/system is totally corrupt and moribund and R&AW is in a disarray after the recent discovery of moles. So yes, there should be a demand from the people to the government that if there was information about the impending attacks, why was nothing done to prevent those.

I have not yet read your fine article, but already I have a gripe. How dare you call Pakis ``A Nation of Eunuchs?`` I mean HijRas maybe, but not Eunuchs. As you probably don`t know or realize, Eunuchs were usually quite intelligent and played all kinds of political games in the machinations of government and projections of power. Meanwhile HijRas just clap their hands, sing, and dance, burying their head in the sand, with their recti aimed at the sky.
