well well well! i would love to appreciate the way you wrote article ... and i would appreciate the way pakistan has progressed in 59 years ... not bad ..... but obviously not good enough ..... still it has to go a long way .....take an example of china which is one year younger than pakistan.....and look at him ...... one of the biggest industrial country of the world ... infact if you say it onliest biggest industrial country it would be better .....we don`t need to go much far way let`s comparison with india....one of the best in asia .... no doubt we have compete him in defense...not us infact pakistan...........
but if we take a look on our budget and indian budget which is one day younger than pakistan then we will get to know our total budget is equal to indian defense budget ... i didnt mean to hurt anyone even pakistan ....... but these are things which should be understand........not us ...... this was for pakistan
so dear pakistan do understand what you have not gotten yet!......infact very few of things you hve with you ..... and pakistani leaders and pakistani nation has done much for you...
there was a program on channel and in that program a person said like this...
and i love these wordings ......
``first this nation needs a country ... and now this country needs a nation``
damn embarassing

Baba..dont use the word ``carved``...for any country...
this word normally means ``one country forcefully and against the wishes of the original inhabiters, was created violently..``
If you are a pkistani, you wouldnt understand..or perhaps you would..afterall Bangladesh did happen!

After Hizbullah episode recently, and earlier during the earthquake in Pakistan, it has made me think that, do we as Muslims really need nation states?? If organizations like Hamas, Hizbullah, and several indegenous Muslim relief agencies in Pakistan can provide all the social services that a nation state is supposed to provide to its citizens then why do we need nation states. In the present day, almost every Muslim nation state has come into being because of the colonial Europeans in the last two centuries. Even the seat of last Caliphate Turkey was carved out by Europeans.
The other point is that nationalist politics that is usually based on one`s accident of birth, color, race, language or ethnicity has not served Muslims anywhere in the world. For example, since the day Arab Muslims adopted Arab nationalism as fed to them by Lawerence of Arabia thru a British conspiracy, they have been a subject of jootaybaazi from all across the world. Despite being some of the wealthiest nations on this planet because of their natural resource they have zero political clout in the world affairs. In the field of industry, trade, education, and military their stature is less than enviable, as a matter of fact it is a matter of shame.
The third point is that in almost every so called Muslim country, the country has been hijacked by an oppressor class usually spearheaded by their respective militaries. This class mainly belongs to the offspring of those collborators who collaborated with colonial occupation of Muslim lands. This class has actually created a mindset in general populace that the country does not belong to them. I mean there is no sense of ownership. With their greed, corruption, and heavy-handed oppression they have sidelined the masses. They have stolen a country from its own people. In other word this oppressor class is the exact replica of their colonial masters. They imitate them. They disparage their fellow countrymen in the same way as colonial masters disparaged locals.. And in other words they have created this master-slave relationship with the public where the principle of rule is ``inn haramzadon ko ziada sar par nahin chrahana chaiyay``. They spare no effort to exhibit this menatllity; if it is not actual bullet and bombs, they use the spears of disdain to disparage their own citizens with the words like ``the women in pakistan get themsleves gang raped just to get canadian visas``.
The fourth point is that this oppressing ruling class knows very well that the strength of ordinary people lies in their system of values. In Muslims case it is their religion that provides the social and political values. So this class tries their best, most of the time through corruption and other times through outright murder, to keep people away from their system of values. Take for example Pakistan where with the execption of Quaid-e-Azam and Liaquat Ali, every ruler has tried to establish an imported political system or ideology in this country. Quaid died so soon, otherwise they would have hung him in Adyala jail, just as they murdered Liaqat ali.
With new geopolitical situation, and with recent episodes of Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, and very much in Pakistan, Muslims have to think again whether we need nation states. They have to think quick because the terror and oppression upon Muslims is becoming a globalized phenomenon every minute of the day. The experimentation of a nation state has failed in every Muslim country. The old fashioned way, was logical and it served us exceptionally well, where a Muslim was considered a universal citizen. In order to get back to what works for us we have to weaken or abolish the nation state. But I am not proposing an anarchy or lawlessness. What I am proposing is a universal fraternity of Muslims, that must be made stronger. Regional organiztions must slowly but surely take over the social and civil services and build a parallel but better and enviable civic systems like Hamas and Hizbullah and islamic relief agencies in Pak did. These organizations have proven that it can be done despite dire and deadly circumstances. So once we have created regional organizations delivering civic services to its citizens, alliances and Federations can be made universally. This is quite possible if the guiding light is no one but Allah and His prophet. This is possible as we see that a shia hizbollah comes out to help a sunni hamas and how every sunni prayed for the victory of shia hizbollah. So when these regional federations become strong, people are organized and disciplined, we can slowly replace the nation state and along with it the corrupt ruling class.
Today when it is the birthday of Pakistan, the people must think how much this experiment of nation state was successful. Isn`t it a bitter truth that every vision and every ideal that we had at the time of the inception of this country has been shattered. Pakistan is a failed state, which is going to go the way of the former Yugolavia. If anyone has any doubt in this then answer this question: what was the East Pakistan episode? Wasn`t that the first step towards balkaniztion of Pakistan. The only and only reason that Paksiatn broke up was because we strayed from our values and ideals that bind us together. Had we considered bengalis our fellow Muslim brothers, we would have never usurped their rights. But keep it in mind that it was not you, the people of Pakistan, who usurped their rights, it was this corrupt ruling class, spearheaded by military, that deprived their rights by billitling them and considering them subhumans. Your crime was only that you kept quiet and let it happen. You did not come out to gouge the eyes of those criminals who raped your motherland.
So at this critical juncture of history, you have to make a choice. Either you want to live in this miserliness, decrepitude, and torment of corruption and greed or you want to fulfil your obligations towards Allah and his Prophet (pbuh). These two choices are mutually exclusive.

Quite Sophomoric!
But just the title is enough to bring out the worst among those of either side of divide. Another figuarative carnage would ensue among the baboons, monkeys, languoors, chimpanzees, gorillas and the missing-links from both sides.
All would claim to have acquired degrees & were evolving with effervescense because what sets them apart is that they know english--a clear giveaway that they are educated.
