This is the truth behind the days of our Independence - a huge munan cost. Very few people think from this angle. Behind our happiness was the tragic story of human suffering. If people give them religious tags, then they are not for us (I assume that you are with me on this plane of thinking......). People played with the lives of the people.

..... why did you censor my post #149; did i have any factual errors in my assessment of the dietary habits of madrasis and punjabis ?

.......all i said was that one hundred dollars is a lot of money because it would buy enough idlee to feed a clan of a 100 madrasi code coolies for six months, even though it wouldn`t buy a dinner of karahi gosht for 2 paki cab drivers from faisalabad ............. now, what is wrong with that ? ........ i figure karahi gosht would run you about $25/kg in ny city and any self-respecting pakistani can eat at least 2kg of meat ........... i don`t know how much idlee costs, but just by looking at it you can tell it can`t be more than a nickle a kg which means that you can buy 200 kgs, which should be enough to feed an army of j2ee types for a couple of months .......... for god`s sake, don`t be so sensitive, it is not as if we are discussing their mating habits - that would be too disgusting, even for me ...........

I wonder if most of you chowkies really work for a living. Most of you guys must be either filthy rich or plain jobless. Or may be you don`t have a life other than keyboard-hitting. How come you find so much patience to google for all that stinking stuff about India/Pakistan, and then copy pasting, and reading each other`s googled stinkiing stuff and then typing long rejoinders (or may be those rejoinders are googled too?). How do you get so much venom into your minds?
