Happy Birthday indeed!

Umair Khan, Farzana and rest of the team have lived up to their promise of ``unflinching idealism``. The best thing about chowk is that it taps into the ideals of its interactors, instead of pushing its own ideals down their throats.

It`s especially been a pleasure to read articles written by Godot, Mantolives, Dost-Mittar and Farzana. Chowk`s birthday is special for another reason too. It coincides with the inaugration date of a small BPO business that I launched with friends 3 years ago.

the only reason i won`t pay is I don`t want chowk to get my credit card data. If they set up a third party payment, I would pay...

would the cab drivers here be able to pay that kind of money...100$ is a couple of cab fares at least...

I think the ignore option should be put to use instead of relying on chowk staff. Rs 6000 is quite a hefty amount for most middle class Pakistanis like myself.

You said socio-economic. There is a difference between socio and economic. But to recognize that, you need culture. Something that is sadly lacking amongst many on Chowk.
