You may be right about zeemax but the issue goes beyond his personal opinion (which itself is somewhat perplexing based on what he wrote).

There is large consensus among ullema that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was supernatural, in a literal sense of the word. And I mean this literally. They insist for example, that rivers flowed from the fingers of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), that he flew (literally) to skies (literally) to (literally) meet god. Furthermore, apparently Moses parted the ocean (literally) and that Jesus raised the dead (literally). This surely makes one wonder about the intellectual decay in ranks of Islamic leadership of this day and age.

Furthermore, these ullema also insist that punishment of apostasy is death (no metaphor here). And then they want to define and implement “Nizam-e-Mustafa”? I hope you see sheer lunacy of what they stand for. And that’s the point I am trying to make … literally …

If amlurkid is Arjun then he can post as Arjun_m. However if Arjun_m has been deleted then I don`t see why he can`t post as amlurkid?

That is not the issue. Arjun-M, no matter how much you disagree with him, provided inimitable research - I have learned a lot through his selfless efforts. Besides, I don`t like people getting banned - unless of course they happen to be masquerading as ``professors`` of English.
