good to see someone else get banned...esp. arjun and hp! :)
#290 Posted by mohar11 on August 24, 2006 12:24:56 pm
well - arjun mian did a good job in keeping the paki brigrade in line... rubbing a nose here, kicking an a%% there, he made sure pakis like HP, romair etc stayed within limits.... arjun mian was an effective paki-buster...

Friends,
While I may disagree with Arjun_m on several issues, I do support his right to be heard. Arjun is consistent in his viewpoints and has performed priceless service to the Paki establishment in identifying what ails Pakistan. There are management consultants who will tell you basically the same thing and charge the GoP millions, while Arjun provides similar results as a labor of love. The only difference is that Arjun never sees any silver lining and does not sugarcoat his prescriptions. :) Yes, bring him back.

Yes that`s perhaps true. It is just quite unfathomable how a mortal could perceive so much truth in such a short time, which endures till this day just as it was dawned yesterday.
Divinely inspired may be correct. That is the answer to sattar2`s question.

VRV, for comparison between HP and Arjun_M, just pull out the posts of each since the last one month, two months, three months, one year and so forth ... your choice.
C`mon do it ... and post these on you iLog for judgement of Chowkies.
Thanks.

sattar2:
zeemax can well take care of his argument on his own but i would like to add that saying mohammad is supernatural seems to be more metaphorical than literal. It can be taken as a person having a ``divine touch`` or ``touched by God`` or someone who is ``divinely inspired`` when he says what he says. In case of Mohammad, that was Koran.

HP lets see how serious the discussion goes. I saw how you three uncorked the champagne when his name was shown as deleted?

Zeemax (#268),
Your statement is somewhat perplexing.
You agree that Prophet Muhammad, pbuh, maintained being a mere mortal. But was he indeed a mere mortal? Or was he faking being a mere mortal?
If he was faking being a mere mortal, that makes for dishonesty. Doesn’t it?
If he was indeed a mere mortal, like he insisted, why would you negate him and declare him supernatural?
I am ok with his last sermon and forgiving. But do put some thought into what you write.

BTW, feel free to enlighten us on punishment of apostasy in Islam … as you’d like to see implemented in “Nizam-e-Mustafa”. You may also want to check with Urstruly for his views.

Zee,
Lets see how fair this is? Khasi Uncle is making site a filthy place. Can it be worse than that?
A decent discussion?
When he`s in good mood, it`s good. When he`s in foul mood, he sc$*@s the board. Is it right on Khasi Uncle?

I don’t know why you continue to seethe. We need to move forward there will be more issues in future. However, I do agree that in both India and Pakistan often the sense of humor is too crude for some to handle and the naming of the restaurant showed that crudeness…

No VRV, not true. This is a site for decent interaction. That`s all. But let`s not dwell on it.
Thanks.

Thanks Chow-Staff. Please keep it up. You can see this is a very engaging discussion, just as Chowk deserves, and some people like Arjun_M had been messing it up. I hope he has been kicked out for good with no hope of hacking Chowk again.
I salute your vigilance.
