Well, what is wrong with that is it has been my experience of their websites that this community deliberately and completely misrepresents Islam on the internet, while claiming to be Muslims. Whenever one wants a piece of research on Islam, you are surprised with what you get on, say alislam.org. Thus it is natural to become suspicious.
HP: That is why it should that be an issue in the debate here. Though we mustn`t dwell on it.

Behram:
It is hard to believe that oil and gas revenues from Baluchistan is not shared in an equitable and fair proportion between Baluchistan and the Pakistan federal Govt.
I am sure it is done in accordance with some agreed formula. Why then is the violence here?
I bet Indian RAW is behind all this troubles dont`t you think? Would you care to explain?

“what is wrong with being a qadiani ?”
It is still too early in the morning to agree or disagree with people but Hamid is right. What is wrong in being a quadiani and why should that be an issue in the debate here?
I also agree with Hamid on “as far as the hindoos are concerned, i can empathize with you - there are days when their head wagging makes me dizzy and the smell of heeng makes me sick ...........
He knows what is right and wrong this morning…
Tahmed,
“The baluchistan problem is about money. Breaking the hold of the tribal leaders in baluchistan has been overdue for decades.”
Though I may agree in general with your comments but the army should not be the one to break it.

zeemax,
....... what is wrong with being a qadiani ? .......... i simply don`t understand why you people are so hung up on jews, hindoos, ahmedis, pigs and women ........ arn`t they god`s creation too ? ............ i can understand why you hate women because they challenge your inadequate manhood and all that, but what has a poor pig ever done to you?... the poor guy is one oink away from becoming bacon ? ............ and ahmedis - what have they done other than insist on worshiping the same arab deity that you guys bow to five times a day ........ why can`t you share ? ............ shame on you for being such selfish brats ............. as for the jews, i guess it goes back to the days of your prophet who wanted to exterminate them, but don`t you think it is time to let up now that they have been driven out of arabia and karachi ?.............. as far as the hindoos are concerned, i can empathize with you - there are days when their head wagging makes me dizzy and the smell of heeng makes me sick ...........

So he is indeed qadiani.
He is no man-worshipper, but rather apeman-worshipper, as his eulogisation of his `boss` signifies.
So much for the better.

HP #94 I didnt know Bugti supported Zia`s takeover. That would be in keeping with his character though. These baluch tribal leaders have help hundreds of thousands of people in the dark ages, refusing to even allow their children to go to schools while their own scions go to western universities. The baluchistan problem is about money. Breaking the hold of the tribal leaders in baluchistan has been overdue for decades.

zeemax: I am back as promised. And I see that the best you and echoboom could come up with was to repeat what I said was one of the oldest tricks in the mullah Handbook of Filthy Tricks - namely try to scare me by calling me a quadiani!! ha! ha! You are really stupid enough to think these filthy mullah tricks fool anyone but yourself.
When I say echoboom is an man worshipper (and therefore by definition cannot be considered a muslim) I say that based on what he himself has been writing and posting on chowk. That is Echoboom`s veneration of arab and persian mullahs, complete with his posting of pictures, his aping of arabs complete with ``mashallahs`` splattered on large fonts on chowk and his use of other arab phrases (``munafik`` to grandly refer to anyone who puts a mirror to his face for example) - are there for all to see.
On the other hand, I have made no secret of my views on religion, which I have expressed consistently on chowk over the years. And fundamental to that belief is individual responsibility before God to use one`s own mind. Not seek guidance on religious matters from someone who claims to be closer to God than you - no pirs, no fakirs, no mullahs, and certainly no prophets.
Are you so stupid as to think that I have anything to fear because a couple of man-worshippers on chowk try to brand me as being like them - a follower of some other man?
I hope the above helps and clarifies. Have a nice day.

Oh well, since people insist on talking about it, here`s what precipitated the attack yesterday:
Power pylons, gas pipeline blown up in Kohlu
Unidentified armed men planted heavy explosives under two big towers of the 32KV Kohlu-Barkhan transmission line near Lasyzai area of Kohlu and blew them up, disrupting power supply to Kohlu township and many other areas of the district.
The Quetta Electric Supply Company (Qesco) staff rushed to the site and started the repair work.
“Replacement of towers and transmission line will take time,” sources said, adding that the staff would try to restore supply to Kohlu and others areas as early as possible.
A pipeline supplying gas to the Sui plant from wall No. 6 of Loti gas field was also blown up in the early hours, they said.
The 16-inch-diameter pipeline was blown up with heavy explosives, they said, adding that the repair work would take at least 24 hours.

first, hizbullah unlike akbar bugti, does not kill its own people:
http://www.dawn.com/2006/08/25/top3.htm
``QUETTA, Aug 24: Sixteen people including two girls, were injured in two bomb blasts in Model Town close to a busy bus stand and headquarters of the Frontier Corps, here on Thursday...``
second. by conservative estimates, karachi generates about a third of pak`s budget revenues. if revenue has to be apportioned on the basis of where its generated, karachi would be the biggest gainer and baluchis the biggest losers. on a per capita basis, baluchis receive the biggest chunk of federal revenue.
third, if jobs have to be allocated on the basis of region, again non-sindhis would be the biggest losers because most migration occurs into sind and specifically into karachi. again baluchis would be huge losers. by rough estimates population of baluchis residing in karachi is slightly less than than percantage of baluchis residing in quetta.
bottomline central govt is the big daddy. all resources of pak belongs to it and it gets to decide how those resources are divided.

HP -- a monumental folly on the part of Ehud Olmert -- a Mother of all stupidities on the part of Musharraf -- there was absolutely no need to assassinate Bugti.
....at least the Israeli moron was smart enough not to use the Smart bomb on his own people -- Mushrraf just committed -- a major major blunder -- a NO NO -- a sacrilege -- a President assassinating a politician of his own country -- by a smart bomb! -- who does such a crazy thing? -- Musharraf has in fact smart-bombed himself.
btw HP -- I did not break the thread -- Musharraf did -- Musharraf broke the tenuous thread that was holding Bugti`s largest province -- to an already militarily truncated centrifugalist Pakistan.
