There is a very interesting little snippet in the NYTimes today.

President Ahmadinejad has closed down a top Iranian Newspaper, Sharagh, for printing a cartoon that was seemed insulting to the regime. Ha ha ha ha ha ha.

It is truly mind boggling that how a little cartoon criticizing the regime is so painful to him that he had to shut the paper down.

May be some super brains can explain this little, my shyt don’t stink’ phenomenon so widely prevalent in the Islamic world?

and look how a Mullah( good word--use it often) so learned, one from a madressa, fluent in four european languages besides Farsi, arabie, and urdu is received & respected.

No wonder the Ba Ba Blacksheep turn out to be mere jobbers, the master-kissers of their master`s-tushes.

Khatami calls Hizbollah symbol of resistance

Sun Sep 10, 2006 10:47pm ET``163``

By Svea Herbst-Bayliss

CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts (Reuters) - Former Iranian President Mohammed Khatami said on Sunday Hizbollah was a symbol of Arab resistance and that groups or nations fighting oppression could not be equated with terrorists.

Khatami said there was a difference between those who ``strive for the territorial integrity of a country and those who kill only to kill.`` His comments, through an interpreter, came in reply to a student question after he delivered a speech at Harvard University`s Kennedy School of Government.

He called Hizbollah, which fought a 34-day war with Israel in Lebanon this summer and is classified as a terrorist organization by the United States, ``a symbol of Arabic resistance.`` Washington has accused Iran of arming Hizbollah guerrillas.

Hizbollah was founded in 1982 and waged a long guerrilla war to evict Israeli forces from Lebanon. Its recent fighting with Israel was sparked after the group kidnapped two Israeli soldiers in a cross-border raid on July 12.

Khatami, a cleric who was Iran`s president from 1997 to 2005 and was considered a reformist, also denied Iran financed terrorist groups, contradicting assertions by the United States.

Replying to the same student, who repeated allegations that Khatami`s government had financed terrorists, Khatami replied: ``Are you sure I gave hundreds of millions in aid to terrorists? I assure you this has not happened and will not happen.``

It was not clear if Khatami was referring just to his own government. He did not mention what policies his hard-line successor, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, might have toward Hizbollah.

The speech in Cambridge on the eve of the fifth anniversary of the September 11 attacks on the United States, marked the end of a controversial five-city visit that included stops in Washington and New York.
Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney did not allow state police to escort Khatami as police would normally do, after calling his planned speech at Harvard ``propaganda.``

About 200 protesters crowded outside the Kennedy School and one child held a sign with a picture of New York`s World Trade Center -- destroyed in the September 11 attacks -- and ``Remember This`` written underneath.

President George W. Bush has called Iran part of an ``axis of evil`` but said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal his administration issued Khatami a visa to travel in the United States because he wanted to hear his views.

Khatami is the highest-ranking Iranian to visit Washington since the United States cut diplomatic ties after student radicals held 52 Americans hostage during the 1979 revolution.

Now why this news has not been mentioned in any of the so-called big-name media.

The reason, dear muslims, is that they are United Satans.

``Never ever will they take you their friends, until & unless you adopt their way of life``.

Now where did I read that? The muslims here know that.

Only those who pose as muslims amongst us but

who love to drool at gora-stool & yet
consider themselves cool, will not
deny they went to school
where Ba Ba Blacksheep as a rule
always bah bahed for more wool.

Enjoy & share it with your e-mail buddies.

40,000 rally in TA to demand official war probe

Reuters

Some 40,000 Israelis demonstrated in Tel Aviv last night to demand that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert order an independent state inquiry into his government`s handling of the war in Lebanon.

The rally was the largest public show of dissatisfaction with Olmert since he took office in May. Polls show his popularity has tumbled amid public frustration with Israel`s failure to crush Hezbollah guerrillas.

The 34-day campaign, launched after Hezbollah captured two soldiers in a cross-border raid, ended with an August 14 truce that has largely held. Olmert has pledged only a government probe into the war instead of an independent inquiry.

Police said a crowd of around 40,000 thronged Rabin Square in Tel Aviv. Many in the crowd, which spilled into nearby streets, were reservists who served during the war.

Organizers said they were happy with the turnout, though some protests against past governments have been much bigger.

Speakers complained that the army had been ill equipped and civilians ill prepared to face Hezbollah rockets that rained on northern Israel during the fighting. A total of 1,200 Lebanese, mostly civilians, and 157 Israelis, two-thirds of them soldiers, were killed in the war.

Protesters sent up cries of: ``Olmert go home.``

Spurning the calls from the demonstrators, Olmert told a news conference in Jerusalem: ``I see things differently.``

The prime minister has vowed to hold an internal probe of the war, under a panel his cabinet has yet to name. Israeli media said the cabinet was likely to put off a decision on naming the panel that had been expected today.

Among the speakers in Tel Aviv were leaders of both left and right-wing parties opposed to Olmert`s centrist Kadima. They formed an odd alliance of those who supported the war and those who wanted to end it sooner.

``Never has there been such confusion and contradictory orders issued in the handling of a war,`` said former defense minister Moshe Arens, of the right-wing Likud party.

Yossi Sarid, a former lawmaker with the leftist Meretz party called on Olmert, Defense Minister Amir Peretz and Chief of Staff Dan Halutz to resign. ``If you don`t return home on your own initiative, Israeli democracy will send you home,`` Sarid said.

Protest leader Eliad Shraga said, ``We hope to open the prime minister`s eyes,`` to force him to name an independent commission of inquiry headed by a Supreme Court justice to investigate the army`s failings.

This is a bit more than just sectarinism out of religious zeal. It is a turf battle before Iraq is split along ethnic lines as per the original allied plan. Knowing this, each side is trying to expel the other from its claimed territory. The pilgrims are just innocent victims.

According to Juan Cole comments of 3/9/06, ``the hapless pilgrims have become ex post facto companions of the Imam (which is the significance of them being buried, as martyrs, in Karbala)``.

behram writes <<< Do you get it? For the love of your coreligionist please get it. >>>

What you don`t understand is that the author of that article you posted is deliberately (in the labels that he uses and the blame that he assigns) trying to present the opponents as the evil to begin with and the US as the good that is provoked into doing evil. Thereby he is trying to scare the non participants in this farcial war between the petty terrorists (the damn fools) and the higher terrorists (US) to give up their struggle against oppression and tyranny~ the real ``war``, a war for the existence of humanity regardless of label in which today over half of the population on earth is living worse than animals with unfulfilled basic needs. That is the war for justice and freedom and this farce that the US is busying the world with is a major distraction from that in which that damn fool author you posted from is calling for people doing the real struggle to lay down their arms. That will not happen and should not happen.

GT: Greetings.

I wish I could applaud you for speaking out against censorship. However, a moment`s reflection should tell you that you are in fact arguing in favor of censorship. Let me explain:

On chowk, when a poster heaps abuse and ridicule upon another poster who says something he does not agree with, he is imposing his own form of censorship.

Think about this. Then come and talk to me about censorship and whose fan you are or are not.

Re: # 158

Dear tahmed,

Zee did misbehave with you and that is not correct. Furthermore, zee does not need me to defend him and neither am I doing so. But, through all his rage he, I think, was trying to get a point across, and that is (exactly what you say below):

``You are merely exploiting this disgusting posting to promote your own hate-filled agenda with which you regularly entertained us with on chowk in past years.``

I do not know where, but somewhere zee explicitly indicated who this ``You`` was. It was a jingoist Indian writer who used this picture in a rediff.com article.

I am no fan of zee. We disagree ideologically. But banning him is not correct, just like banning arjun_m is not correct. People (and very polite people at that) have expressed worse. Yes, zee did use foul language. But he claims he was induced by others to do so. Just as he induced stuka to use foul language. But guess what, censorship is not the solution. If you reflect on it, I think you will agree. Heck, I feel zee`s greatest fan is VRV :-)

CHOWK STAFF: I am glad you finally took out zeemax`s disgusting posting. It took you some time though - which indicates that you are not actively keeping an eye on chowk postings to make sure individuals dont use this free privilege as a license for subhuman behavior.

A few weeks back you had indicated that you were coming up with a more effective method to ensure compliance with guidelines. Nothing has happened as yet. It is not easy to do this. Perhaps you should write up what you propose to do, then allow some brainstorming/`debate on chowk??

Jay Thakeray: You point to zeemax and his admittedly disgusting postings of that picture of the desecration of a dead body. You ignore the pakistani posters who expressed their disgust. And use this as a convenient means to vilify the Islamic religion. This puts you almost on the same plane as zeemax. You are merely exploiting this disgusting posting to promote your own hate-filled agenda with which you regularly entertained us with on chowk in past years.

DimZee,

Taliban caning women for going outside without male companions - a primitive mindset. (Taliban mindset is based on Islamic principles, I guess).

Indian women police cane these girls for defying the prohibitory orders : a reaction to a civil offence by the girl.

This is done in any civilised country. In the west they push these girls with shields (a more sophisticated way, naturally).

Pl explain, why Pak men cut the throats of their grown-up girls for loving somebody outside their caste/clan?

Explain.

genital mutilation, crushing of the skull etc?

Poor guys have only the grand mughals to follow!!

That is why what happened in 1971 to those poor BLACK & inferior bengalis at the hands of these likemided islamic zealots, happened.

Taliban is caning them - though women dressed like dead bodies draped in full - for coming outout male companion.

Pl see this:

What about cutting the throats of girls in Pakistan for loving somebody different from their own caste/tribe?

The reccent case is Hina Salim from Italy. Her throat was cut and she was buried in the backyard by her father and brother.

Bush, the ignorant buffoon has given a very clear choice to his loyal slaves; a first step towards freeing them rather than selling them or out-sourcing them.

The baboon said : ``Are you with us, or with them``.

It is decision time for slaves. Slaves have never ever given decision making tasks. Slaves are in a quandry. Slaves who have the mentality to ALWAYS choose comfort, convenience, and safety as PRIMARY virtues in life..rather than Losing jobs, fighting masters (feeding hands, imprisoned or terrorised to have the courage & dignity to break the shackles.

The Slaves, Daroowallas( liquor suppliers) & JharRoowalaas ( broom-carriers) alongwith their muslim Sikh & Hindu amma-auctioneers SERVED the Britto Baboons...Enjoyed life under their patronage.. and suddenly acquired ``taste`` ``respectability`` ``do-gooding virtues``..taught at their freemason haunts.

The slaves are worried..oh we Look muslims; we look Indian; we look hindu..

``O kaliyaa ubb teraa kyaa banay gaa........`` the slave looks in the mirror and asks.

What the slave does not understand is that a thousand pounds of Emex or fair& lovely just cannot make him a Michael Jackson. What the slave does not understand is that EVEN if a white man becomes a muslim; it is very very difficult for him to get rid of the ``race card`` from his geneticcode [ tough but understandable]. It is just like thos who converted or spent a lot of time among hindus acquire the ``caste-card`` in their genetic code.
It is also the reason that the Pakis Langoors & Baboons, with hindu castecard also found the ``class card` of the Britto Baboons very helpful to keep the ``aborgines`` [practicing Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims who stuck to their culture, dress, food & music].

It is for this reason that the Black, the negro, no matter how good a christian he might become he will always be at his wits ends as to why he is not considered an equal.

The Sikhs get mistaken as muslims, the hindus get mistaken as Pakis, the Parsis have to apologise that they are not Irani or muslim & suddenly wish they looked hindu...Sleeper-cell syndrome EVERYWHERE.

The safest muslim is the one who looks like Usama or Nasrullah...Either they are a mole or
they find that they have nothing to hide.

Decision time for Slaves? Oh what a howl would that be.

``Bharoasa kur naheeN saktay ghulaamoan kee baseerat pUR
Jisay zaibaa kahaiN azaad bUnday; hai vohee zaiba``....ALLAMA IQBAL

tr: the judgement of a slave can never ever be trusted; whatever a free men consider appropriate , is appropriate.

It feels tremendously great when muslims see the United Satans whining & complaining.

Isn`t that a first step towards reforming their erstwhile arrogant & bullying behaviour?

Everyone from the higher civilisations are kicking & spitting upon the United Satans...

Once that happens, we all know what follows.

Any person or nation, once it loses respect & is taunted for all & sundry to see, is always a cleargiveaway that the monster inside him/it has been bloodied & hollowed.

Only a little nudge is needed to see it crumble &collapse.

as the ALLAMA haS said:

``mgar yeh raaz aakhir khuul gayaa saarey zamaaney pUR``..& finally
the best-kept secret was out in the open; the house of Taimoor has lost all sense of selfworth & dignity.

MashaAllah ; the march is on!

Yet more anti-Semitism in the Muslim world
Just when you thought you could no longer be surprised by what comes out of the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s mouth, comes a disclosure of a letter sent by him to German Chancellor Angela Merkel this week saying that the Holocaust was being exploited by the Jews in order to embarrass Germany.

“I do not wish to research the Holocaust,” writes the Iranian President, “however, it does not make sense that some of the countries that had won in World War II, have created an excuse to place a nation in a permanent state of embarrassment, to weaken its motivation and vitality and to prevents its growth and progress.”

Ahmadinejad, who on more than one occasion had declared that he believed that the Holocaust was nothing more than a historical myth, added that the Germans, like the population of the Middle East and all of humanity are being exploited by the Holocaust. He also went on to claim that the countries that had won WWII and had settled the Jews in Palestine “created a permanent threat to the region designed to prevent the Middle Eastern Peoples from developing.”

In Egypt, though, things are not looking any better. In an article supporting Hizballah published in the government-backed daily Al-Aharam in mid-August, Sheikh Dr. `Ali Guma`ah, the Mufti of Egypt, restores an old tradition of anti-Semitism popularized during the Middle Ages: The Blood Tales.

“The lies of the ‘Hebrew Entity’ reveal the true, ugly face of bloodsuckers, who prepare matzoth from the blood of human beings,” he writes. “Greetings to the Lebanese People, the Lebanese Government and the Lebanese Resistance, to the beautiful little land which proved to the world that concepts such as determination, courage and self respect still exist in this era taken over by murderers and bloodsuckers”.

By now it is clearly understood by the vast majority of the world population that the west is as crazy as the rest of them, if not more so. The writer of that article has just narrated some basic facts, and should not be taken as scaring anybody. Why should the vast majority of peace loving and innocent muslims suffer the consequences of the few fascist amongst them? eh!

The effect of this belligerency is also on those of us who look like them. Look at the recent history, and you will understand that the Ottoman Empire was destroyed just 100 years ago, and this is the first opportunity that the west is getting to completely destroy the muslims.

Do you get it? For the love of your coreligionist please get it.

Always very very good news when the enemies of Islam are seen peeing in their pants.

Of course CHINA has said to the U.S:``Shut-up; Be Quiet!``...``You have nothing to teach & preach a great civilisation like China``.

and the farangi bhangis are running helter-skelter looking for their brooms. They, who recently emerged from the dark ages, must never be in a position to be leaders. They must live as subjects of the great civilisations like the Incas & Aztecs in America itself.

Fanatical Islam`s Marriage to Red China

The plot of a grade B sci-fi movie put the good guys between two warring groups -- Aliens vs. Predators -- that previously had starring roles in separate movies. Aliens devoured their hosts from within, while Predators used high-tech weapons to kill humanity. Not to press a silly example too far, but it looks like Aliens (fascist Islam) have established a temporary truce with Predators (the leaders of the People’s Liberation Army).

As the sane world watches Iranian leadership develop nukes, world-altering events are in the making. Fanatical Islam has temporarily entered into a marriage of convenience with People’s Republic of China Communist dictators. This is bad. On an intellectual level above a simple movie, the great Irish poet, William Butler Yeats, created lines that will echo throu.................

I find your post #100 and its various replications to be despicable.

How and why is it despicable? There isn`t a shade of blood and gore on it and this picture is from rediff.com. If they didn`t find it despicable, how come you do?

On the other hand, the Taliban photo posted by herono on the Bugti board falls in that category. Don`t know how many useless hours he spent to dig it out while it has nothing to do with Pak or its army. Besides, there`s plenty of gore on ogrish.com if one wants.

What you in fact mean to say is that it is too offensive for your Indian friends, which is fine.

Therefore, I shall cease and desist from using that image on FP in accordance with your wishes, and nothing else. However, I cannot guarantee it won`t come out if Pak or Pak army is abused by some indian bigot.

Except the difference as stated against each ....

Taliban beating street-walkers with a stick.

Hindians beating medical students with a stick.

Or is there a difference?

behram`s copy pasted article: <<< At the start of WWII, England fought in a gentlemanly fashion, not hitting until they were first hit and scrupulously confining themselves to military targets. Then Hitler flagrantly violated that covenant by bombing civilian neighborhoods in London and other British cities, with the sole objective of terrorizing the British people. >>>

A totally pathetic attempt to justify the higher terrorism of the higher terrorists by presenting an amnesiac version of history, trying to scare the opponents to lay down their arms and not fight or they will be annhialated. Fantastic attempt at psychological warfare but bs as far as facts go.

Israel`s disproportionate response to the Hizb kidnapping was not related to the kidnapping, just as the Atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were not related to Pearl Harbor, just like the British and later US firebombing of German cities was not related to the accidental bombing of a London by a lost German plane crew (which was an exception at the time). Similarly, German use of poison gas in WW1 had little to do with the British using poison gas against the Iraqi Arabs and Kurds in the 1920s and Churchil`s desire to use poison gas against the ``uncivilized`` Afghans? Neither are the Jihadists or the Hizb close to the compatible military strength of the opponents at that time. In fact the whole association of this farcial war on terror by the US with World War 2 or of the opponents with Hitler, is a big farce, a conspiracy to justify unrelated events by association with events that have already been judged morally and so the response is automatic.

And finally, given the disproportion in firepower possessed by the US, the fact that they have been unsuccessful so far should tell everyone that this psychological warfare bs, as reflected by this article, is just that BS.

``When the Germans started to use poison gas in WWI, it was regarded by the English and French with numb horror as something unthinkably cruel. But within months, they were using poison gas against the Germans, with improvements of their own. By the end of the war, gas warfare had claimed over a million casualties, many of them German.

At the start of WWII, England fought in a gentlemanly fashion, not hitting until they were first hit and scrupulously confining themselves to military targets. Then Hitler flagrantly violated that covenant by bombing civilian neighborhoods in London and other British cities, with the sole objective of terrorizing the British people. It took a few years but when the Allies had the power to retaliate they used it, bombing German cities with a rather half-hearted regard for whether targets were military or civilian and needlessly annihilating Dresden in what many think was a payback for Coventry. In the end, over ten percent of Germany`s people died in the war``

That is very much true...........and the West is again studying the WWII events much more closely to see what and how Hitler was doing at that time and what reponse got the best results. I agree that Germany went on escalating the limits of agression from Chemical Boms, Gas Falmes to v2-s - and the possibility of the A-Bomb was very much there- and the Allied Forces spent a great amount of discussion and deliberations on whether they should be contering with greater force or not. When they got tired of the $hit from Hitler they decided to go on offensive and counter force with a greater force and that brought appropriate result and the peace we saw for a long time. A continuation of this pre-emption of greater force by the Fascist forces was the use of A Bombs by the Allied forces- We can imagine what would have happened if Hitler or Japs got hold of the A-Bomb during WWII.

Much like German Nazism the threat of Nuclear Terrorism by countries run by mad Ayotollahs and Ulemas is a grave reality- if these mad Aytollahs and Mullahs get hold of A-Bomb technology they would consider it their divinely ordained duty to start the WWIII by sending their brainwashed suicidal maniacs in various Kafirlands.

New Report:

Pakistani-American teenager, father barred from U.S.

LOS ANGELES, Aug 30 (Reuters) A Pakistani-American born in the United States said on Wednesday he has been barred from re-entering the country apparently because he chose a close relative who was convicted of a terrorism-related crime in April in the emergency contact portion of his U.S. passport. Jaber Ismail, 18, arrived in Pakistan with his 45-year-old father, Muhammed, nearly five years ago to study and memorize the holy Quran. He completed that task and tried to return but U.S. Customs officials at the Hong Kong airport told the father and son, ``your passports aren`t in the system. You have no record in the U.S.``. Jamil: ``I said, `I am a U.S. citizen. I was born there.` I showed them my birth certificate, my school ID. They wouldn`t listen.`` He said FBI agents in Islamabad told him that he and his father would be denied entry into the United States unless they submitted to more questioning and a lie detector test. ``I was at a mosque. I was memorizing the Quran because it was important to my mom,`` Ismail said. ``I want to go home and finish high school and get a good job.``(Posted @ 09:50 PST)

The word Quadiani is a blanket term, and I do not like to address Mirzais as Ahmadis because this word alludes to a relationship with our Prophet Mohammad (pbuh); Ahmad being his second name. I called yuo Quadiani because it is a well known adjective as compared to Lahori. I have long suspected that you belong to Lahori group of Mirzais and I made it know to you in the past.

There is very simple procedure to prove that you are none of these. It is by sending la`anat upon all Quadianis, Lahoris, and Mirza. Shouldn`t be a problem for you, since you have been sending la`anat upon Muslims almost everyday after breakfast.

Interesting news item in Dawn. Notice the sudden interest in opportunities for education and jobs in the US and blaming his mother for putting him on this ``Islam`` route!! Typical example of the characterless ``Islamists`` of Pakistan - they spit on the US as long as they feel safe and protected by US laws. When given the chance to put their money where their mouth is, they suddenly change their tune. US courts will probably let this man back into the US in due course - but the truth of the ``Islam`` of these arab worshippers is obvious from this news item.

Nature is still worthy in the country and music is still a form of art and opera, theatre and literature are still alive there.

Good point. Iran is the only Islamic country whose art films regularly win awards at Cannes.

Calling Ahmedinejad a lowly Ayotollah licking dog should infact gladden the hearts of the Islamists.................surprising that they take it as an affront!!

Somehow I feel that writer has unmistakably written such week article to get the interest of Islamic like minded folks. Awareness, society, respect, history and heritage if the author argues then it still prevails in Iran in this century and this era. Saadi is still quoted and Roustam and Sohrab are still narrated in Iranian text books and kids from any street knows about. Its here in Pakistan that these chapters that are somehow belong from Iranian literature are eliminated. Nature is still worthy in the country and music is still a form of art and opera, theatre and literature are still alive there.
Ahmedi is true in denying the event that never had such mass figures of disaster and we look around the Bengal Holocaust is an appropriate subset of the famous Denial making them relatively equally important. But Pakistani side of barbarities is always hid and world has no ethical view on this catastrophe. Thus fake reasoning cannot be established to start war and killing of innocent people of Iran again and again.
Bush has no courage and mind left to have debate with the overpowering and factual thoughts of Nijad which are truth of planet nowadays.
Its just adjusting the right figures and freedom to express truth in all its forms and shapes.
