....a time has come that now they want our first borns....
And there`ll be no Musa to lead them across the river ... They`ve all already come and gone. Now`s the time to listen to what Muhammad had to say.

Your apocalyptic vision will not come to fruition. But dare I say it, itis what the likes of UBL and the wahabi nutcass want.

Urstruly. What`re you saying. It just shocks me into confirmation of what I`ve been saying all along but hoped it wasn`t true. There will be a holocaust of Muslims in western countries. They must take your advice immediately and stand up in their communities and spread the message.

The recent arrests of teenagers in Canada (for practicing paintball) and UK (for liquid bomb plot) show that a time has come that now they want our first borns. I see forced explusions, blatant discrimination, and ultimately a holocvaust of Muslims on the horizon. It is written in stone that West cannot win this war. As a matter of fact what is happening now is the inevitable result of past two hundered years of oppression of Muslim lands and injustice. World is convulsing for a new world order free of imperialism and colonialism. Unfortunately US had to become the last nail in the coffin of these two -isms. The Muslims in west are in the grinding mill but I do not see them as totally helpless, if they stick to the mission they are charged with. The mission is to convey the message of Allah and his Prophet (pbuh) to the humanity. As the number of people who think like you increases, the intensity of conflict decreases. Wars are not always fought and won with weapons alone.

All I can say, quite sincerely, is that if there were more Kaalchakras amongst the hinuds, things would be much better.
So, I wish Kaal a speedy recovery. One, is better than none.
Tahmed32, quite grudgingly, thanks for alerting us to Kaal`s indisposition.

Bulleya .. what an incisive post. Thanks for crystallizing this issue which had somehow escaped being in the focus, somehow evaded attention. This is a very important issue.
I had been hinting at this for quite some time, though in my usual aggressive/abrasive manner rubs-off on people the wrong way. You have put it in a better narrative.
Let`s see what our `immigrants` have to say.

i think people have a big disconnect between two groups, i.e. the expat muslims and the muslims who are still in their countries...........in the big scheme of things, expat muslims (including pakistanis) are quite insignificant. they are individuals who have voluntarily left their countries, for greener pastures abroad. as far as local muslims are concerned, these individuals are neither here nor there........
a person or a country forming their domestic policy, vis-a-vis the west, is not going to really think about the welfare of the expat muslims. does someone in lahore really care what impact his/her actions will have on someone living in michigan.......does someone taking an action in iraq really care what impact it will have in montreal.....i seriously doubt it.....
in addiition, anyone who has enough rage in him to kill himself in fighting someone he perceives to be the enemy also doesn`t care what happens to his expat co-religionists. he is probably more concerned about some personal tragedy he may have suffered.......
the usa is actually quite a nice place, if you can became a citizen. on the other hand, it can be quite destructive if you happen to be on the receiving end of its bomb in your native country.........
so the solution for the expats is not to keep harping on the stupidity of the natives of the countries they migrated from. the solution for the expats is to try to figure out how they can survive this situation, in the best possible manner, where they are not fitting into either side, i.e. the westerners may end up viewing them as part of, ``them,`` while the natives in muslim countries, may view them as part of, ``them,`` also.........
i really cannot see how this state and individual terrorism cycle is going to stop, rightly or wrongly, until two things happen:
- palestine issue is resolved
- us disengages from the middle east (iraq, saudi arabia, egypt etc.) and lets it people do what they want
until then, there will always be enough rage on either side, to keep this going.......and in this conflict, no one local to the muslim countries is really going to care what impact their actions have on the expat muslims.............
perhaps what the expat muslims need to do is to stop relying on the govts. of their adapted countries and/or the individuals of the countries they left behind. perhaps they should try to set up their own pressure groups (much like jewish organizations) to look after their interests in their adapted countries. i have seen this in canada, to some extent. haven`t seen it at all, in usa.............

Good article Irena. The bit about your sister`s quandary pretty much sums up the dilemma facing the average Muslim.

Salim: It is indeed, as you say, ``up to Pakistanis to get this parasitic monkey off our backs. `` Trouble with these parasites is that, like foot fungus, it wont go away anytime soon. As the urdu saying goes - it takes a few generations for the smell of jehaliyat to disappear. But no doubt - as the Ilog from Adam Khan indicates, Pakistanis are beginning to wake up to the heavy ``hidden costs`` they are paying because of these arab wannabes.

Faisaluno ... merey Bhai ... they are not interested in all this history. It is beyond their simplistic comprehension. It is just that we knock them or they knock us. That`s all. See? Keep things simple ... they have a low attention span. Just knock down a few more tall buildings and let them see people landing on pavements like pigeon shit and they`ll understand. They only understand blood. Nothing else. In the words of Mohathir, these people are `primitive`. But, they are at the same time squeamish when the blood is their own. What a paradox.
But keep your efforts up. Leave the blood and gore stuff to me.

this article seems to be more about fear-parnoia spread amongst members of mulsim commmunity who have to live in the west, and not so much about islamophobia. in one incident, one indian guy was detained and questioned for a couple of hours by order agents because he had names with phone-numbers written in a diary in a local indian script. so the guy had to waid till agents called the phone numbers to verify who they were. now, this was not due to islamophobia, the guy was not even muslim, but merely agents trying to make sure of confusing circumstance.
gulf-country border agents throwing away religious material brought by those of other religion would be a good example of a phobia.
